I bought this filter coffee maker from John Lewis for around £40. Krups are a well-established, specialist brand of coffee machine manufacturers, but to be honest, I bought it because I liked the way it would look in the kitchen. It has a sleek, modern design in black with touches of silver. The water tank sits at the back of the machine, and to fill it you simply flip up the cover, which is hinged at the back, and stick it under the tap. There’s no fancy in-built water filter, so you may prefer to fill it from your Britta jug of pre-filtered water ;-).
