Advantages: Simple to use, makes great coffee, capsules readily available and reasonably priced.

Disadvantages: Doesn't make tea

I've had this coffee maker for over a year now and I have to say I'm very happy with it. It looks good in the kitchen, being black and silver, made from high quality plastic so is easily wiped clean, and has a good variety of flavours widely available, and reasonably priced.

I received this machine as a wedding present, but I believe that it now costs around £90. At the time it was coming with a free accessories pack, comprising coffee capsules, a latte glass and a cappuccino cup and saucer. As far as I'm aware the product is still available with this accessories pack.

Coffee capsules are available in the following flavours:
Cappuccino
Latte
Expresso
Lungo
Chococino
Mocha
Cappuccino Ice - Summer only
Lungo Decaffeinato - limited edition
Expresso Intenso - limited edition

I have tried most of these flavours and have found them to be close to the real deal available in coffee shops.

Most of these are available for around £3 for a box of 16 capsules. This gives 16 expressos or 8 of the other drinks, as, for example, a cappuccino uses two capsules, one coffee and one milk. Therefore most of the coffees work out at about 38p, with expressos being about 19p each.

The machine has a 1.3 litre water jug, and takes about two minutes to heat up from when it is switched on. Then it only takes a minute or two to make the coffee of your choice and this includes the time it takes to change capsules (most coffee types use 2 capsules - one for the milk and another for the coffee).

The layered effect of the finished coffee is very good in the glasses, and is often commented upon by visitors.

Also if you register your machine on the website you are given 200 points, and everytime you buy a box of capsules, there is a code on the inside of the box which can be entered online to get a further 10 points (this may now be 11 points as thats what I got for the last two codes entered, although the website still says 10 points). These points can then be spent in the online shop for either free capsules or to buy more glasses and cups. A box of capsules is 160 points and a latte glass is 375 points, so its not unachieveable unlike some point schemes. Alternatively you can use cards on the website to buy your accessories.

If you like the taste of coffee, but can't afford coffee shop prices, I'd strongly recommend this product.

Summary: A great machine for coffee lovers
