Advantages: great range of coffee if you can find them, easy and quick to use and clean, good quality coffee

Disadvantages: some of the coffees are hard to come by, Ive had reliability issues with the machine

Having been a growing fan of coffee for the past two years I decided to get myself a coffee machine and chose the dolce gusto model in cream. I was impressed with the ease of use it displayed on the website and the large range of different coffees available.

The quality of the different coffees is surprisingly high considering the price of the machine and the price of the pods. With it roughly costing twenty pence an espresso or long espresso and forty pence for cappucinos and the such. The espresso has a very full taste with a satisfying creme layer on top however the latte macchiatos despite looking very impressive are slightly to sweet for my liking. The company have released an unsweetened version but like many of the coffees 'available' are often not on sale at supermarkets with supermarkets simply stocking the espressos, long espressos and cappucinos.

I have to admit that I have had to buy a second machine due to the first one breaking completely out of the blue after 6 months heavy use and my second machine occasionaly stops working for a few hours and simply makes a whirring noise. This is clearly not satisfactory however this may be due to me using the machine 3-4 times a day or being unlucky.

With this in mind I would still highly recommend this product to all coffee lovers who want instant good quality coffee.
