Advantages: easy to use, compact, requires little cleaning

Disadvantages: each pod only makes one drink and very basic functions

I am a huge coffee fan and had for a while been thinking of purchasing a coffee machine. I decided I wanted this particular coffee machine after seeing an advert on tv. I like the compact design which I think looks slightly animal like, as some coffee machines can be quite large. I also thought it would be easier to use than some other brands. I was bought one as a christmas gift (at the time it retailed approx £99.00). I was impressed by the look of the machine (it was cream and matched my kitchen), it was compact and fitted neatly on the worktop without looking like an alien had landed there. It also came with a free macchiatto glass and box of cappucino pods. You also get special codes which you register online and these add points to your account which can be used to get coffee pods or mugs and accessories. The instructions are simple and concise. Unlike most coffee machines it is extremely easy to clean and does not require you to totally dismantle it. Once it comes to making the coffee this requires 2 seperate pods except the normal coffee option. It is important to check which pod (milk or coffee) should be used first as there are variations depending on what type of drink you are making. The problem with this is each pair of pods only makes one drink so if you have multiple friends round it can be quite time consuming! On the upside the coffe it makes is lovely!
The other problem is the pods themselves which only come in packs of 8 and are quite expensive (about £3.00 - £3.50) depending on where you buy them and certainly where I live its limited where you can buy them.
Overall this machine has been fine for me (used 2-3 times per week) but for anyone wanting one for more regular use I would try another brand.

Summary: a good coffee maker for general use
