A device that is nice to own with some nice features, But hardly a nescesity

Although hot water dispensers can cost somewhere between 5 to 10 times around the price of a bog standard basic kettle. But if you happen to be in the market for a high end luxury designer kettle I would really recommend this device instead.

On first impressions the colour scheme of black and silver will suit most kitchens to a tee and wont look out of place next to the microwave. But having additional colours available for purchase would of been a nice option to have. Personally to me this dispenser is surprisingly light but it is well built and properly sealed together I have not spotted any manufacturing flaws such as small gaps that can form when two separate pieces of the device have not been formed together correctly.

Upon use it will boil a mug of water in about thirty seconds which is quite swift. A nice safety feature implemented is that the boiling water will only vend one mug at a time even if a full jug of water is used meaning you don't have to exchange a full mug of boiling water with an empty one at the same time. You can remove the existing mug to replace with an empty in your own time and then just hit the vend button again to fill up another mug. A nice little add on is that the base in which you place your mug has an array of small holes this acts as a drip tray for the device ensuring that you don't risk spilling boiling water on the work surface and singeing your fingers

The capacity of the device is 1.8 litres with a water level indicator telling you where its maximum limit is. The cable might be a bit too small for some but this is type off device that just needs to be one static location so for me personally this is not a problem

This is from being a necessity in any house. But as I mentioned before if you are in the market for a luxury high end kettle this hot water dispenser I think will be a better option and also its rapidness in the long term will save energy

Cost £29.99 from Currys (However was bought in a sale)
