Me and my partner received this coffee maker as an engagement present. At first sight it has a very modern and sleek look. A bright blue display in the middle has a clock with silver/grey buttons circling around it. The size of coffee pot which fits in is very large, holding up to 12 cups of coffee.

As I had never used a coffee maker before, it looked a little complicated to set up. How wrong was I? Basically all you need to do is, fill up the water tank (a clear level indicator lets you know how many cups of coffee it will produce), put in the desired amount of ground coffee into a filter, and press the on button. Simple as that!

There are a couple of features on the machine which are very useful. There is an "aroma" setting that if you are making less than 5 cups of coffee, it slows down the filtering to make the coffee the same strength as a longer brewed one. Another feature is an automatic switch on button, which switches the machine on at a desired time. The input of this feature is unbelievably simple.

There is a hot plate which the the holder sits on. This will stay on automatically for 2 hours keeping your coffee warm, you can switch it off any time you like.

Inside the machine the filter is easy to pull out and wash clean but the water fill tank can be a little harder to pour the water into without splashing some water.

There are really no negatives to the machine, although I do not have much to compare it against, being my first. So I have to give it full marks.
