Advantages: Great design, Excellent Coffee, Fascinating to watch

Disadvantages: Take 102 / 1x2 filter papers not the normal 1 x 4

Purchased this machine whilst on holiday in Germany partly because it had been awarded a 10 by the German equivalent of ‘Which’ for producing really good coffee, but also because it has a very small ‘footprint’ due to its design.
Got it home, re-plugged it, set it going and then became totally mesmerised by the bubbles that you can see developing through the glass water container at the top when the water boils. For the bubbles alone and ease of use this is a great machine, but in addition the coffee it produces is also fantastic.

Summary: Slightly more expensive than most filter machines but worth it.
