It follows the same method as most filter machines in that you measure the amount of ground coffee that you require, pour it into a No.4 size paper filter and put the paper filter into the filter holder. The great thing is that the filter holder is removable for washing so that any grit that would build up is washed away. Severin is a German manufacturer that produces pretty cool products. They have a very extensive range of indoor and outdoor cooking utensils, appliances and containers. The products are very stylish and extremely well made. I first came across them in the UK and bought a few items such as a kettle, coffee maker and toaster. I left most of those in storage in Scotland and have now started to build up the range again. My first purchase here was the Cafe Finesse Plus coffee machine.
