Advantages: Great Taste for my morning cuppa
Disadvantages: The price!!
If like me you need a good cup of coffee to get you going in the morning then i strongly recommend Kenco Really Rich for your cuppa. Since it is not the cheapest of brands i never tended to buy i, only sticking to the supermarket own branded coffees purely because of the price until one day i found it on special offer.
I was really pleasantly suprised. You can definitely tell the taste between cheap coffee and quality coffee and this one is definitely quality. You can buy Kenco Really Rich coffe in either 100g or 200g (or sometimes you can get a jar with 50% extra free in i.e 300g). The Really Rich version is the one with the dark blue plastic lid as the red lid jar is Really Smooth.
When you open the glass jar you pierce the gold foil lid attached to keep in the freshness and the aroma just hits you. MMMmmmmnn - how gorgeous! I like my coffee milky so this is perfect for me. For a spoonful of coffee you get a strong yet not overpowering coffee taste - really smooth and delicious. Really sets you up for the day.
Certainly not the cheapest around you can get a 100g jar from Tescos for £2.00 with the 200g jar coming in at £4.95 (so you'd actually be better off buying 2x 100g jars). The use by date lasts for around 2 years so plenty of time to drink it. This is caffeine at its best!
For the environmentally friendly of you the glass jar is 35% re-cyclable and 75% of the beans they use for this coffee come from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms so you know what you are getting. Kenco have been making coffee since 1923 and you can tell. They have got it down to a fine art. If you can spare the extra pennies then its well worth it. After trying this its going to be very difficult going back to the supermarket branded coffees now.
In summary one of the most expensive brands of coffee around but then you do pay for quality. Well worth it if you can afford it. Best coffee ive tasted.
Summary: Coffee at its best!
