Kenco Really Rich
Advantages: Great coffee, great quality
Disadvantages: None really i can think of
When it comes to coffee it really is something that I have really cut back on of late. I did so deliberetley as I was a caffeine addict with coffee being the main offender and coke and the likes as I suffer with M.E and thought maybe it helped to keep me awake longer and more alert. As soon as I saw an M.E specialist that was the first thing I was told to stop so now I actually drink Barley cup (like coffee if you have a very good imagination lol!) and I now limit myself to the odd cup of coffee at home for a treat and a coffee out whenever I get the chance (which to be fair isn't that often!).
This coffee my mate picked up as I was running low on coffee and I wasn't bothered about getting any more in but she likes coffee and she hates barley cup and so this icame from Asda, on offer for £2.00 instead of the usual price of over £3.00 which she thought was a pretty good deal.
Well the coffee comes in a very nice glass jar and the one I have in front of me right now is 100g in size and there is dark blue twist on/off lid to the top of it. On the front of it there is a blue and gold label (as is the back label) and we are told that it is Kenco Rich 'Premium blend for intense richness' and that its Rainforest Alliance Certified and there is a picture of coffee beans on there too. On the back of the back of the jar other information listed includes the best before date, the size and contact details for Kenco are given. Nice, simple packaging this is and its tidy and doesn't look a cheap offering!
Well this of course is instant dried coffee. The granules are dark brown and large and not one bit powdery and has a really rich smell of roasted coffee to it which smells so fresh!
I always use a teaspoon and a half of coffee as I like my coffee strong usually, though with this one I only needed one teaspoon cos as promised this is rich, meaning rich in flavour coffee.
The granules disolve well and the coffee has a really nice aroma to it and the dark coloured coffee is rich in roasted coffee bean flavour and both myself and my friend really do like this one!
Available in all good supermarkets etc and other varities from the Kenco range are available too!
Summary: A nice instant coffee!
