Kenco Rich Coffee.
I absolutely love coffee the stronger the better and one that I am currently drinking is Kenco Blue rich coffee. I am a bit of a coffee-holic and tend to buy lots of coffee and it is almost unknown for me to run out. In fact my son in law was sorting out our food cupboard and found erm....... 40 jars and packets of coffee in there. I just cannot help myself when I go to the supermarket I will always buy coffee especially when it is on offer and can quite easily buy up to ten packets at a time.
I do like to have a bit of variety and although I prefer rich roasted coffee I tend to stick with the well-known brands. I have tried the supermarkets own brands or when a new coffee comes on the market I do try to see if it is good or not but usually end up sticking to those I prefer.
Prices it pays to shop around!
Prices vary between supermarkets so I am always looking out when coffee is on offer. I have been buying Kenco Rich roast for years as I find it strong and robust and full of flavour. I usually buy this one for work too. Price ranges according to the size of the jar although these days I tend to buy the ECO refill pack as they work out cheaper especially when they are on offer for £3 for 150 gms.
You can buy kenco rich coffee in the following sizes:-
100gms £2.50 Jar
150 gms £3.96 refill pack
200gms £6.38 JAr
There are some quite noticeable differences in price especially compared to the 200gms jar as it is over six quid for the jar whereas if you bought 2 x 100 it only works out at £5....... what's that all about? I tend to wait till the eco packs are £3 a packet then buy between six and ten at a time at least they don't go off unless of course there is a slight puncture in the bag but as long as it remains intact it should remain fresh. Kenco rich coffee is freeze dried which turns the coffee into small granules locking in the flavour of the coffee.
How to make instant coffee?
Instant coffee can be made in a variety of ways either wholly with water or mixed with milk or even completely made with milk. Because I like to taste what I am drinking I generally put at least two heaped spoons of coffee into the cup and either pour hot water into the cup or boiled milk. Sometimes I enjoy black coffee too with no addition of milk although this would be mainly after dinner.
When I am not working my first cup of coffee is usually a pint mug of coffee which I make early in the morning with four spoons of coffee so that I can take my time and drink it at leisure whilst I read my mail, check the news and read and rate on Dooyoo as I tend to get up early even on my days off. This gives me ample chance to wake up gracefully before the rest of the household get up!
The taste of the coffee is quite strong and robust and certainly more flavoursome than some of its rivals. It is rich smooth and really quite tasty without the bitterness of weakness of some coffees a jar really does not last very long in our house despite me being the only coffee drinker whereas my wife only drinks tea. I can honestly say this is probably one of the nicer general coffees around today and I would not feel ashamed to offer it to my friends or guests.
I would give it five out of five for taste and strength and give it my wholehearted approval.
Summary: A beautiful everyday coffee which can be enjoyed morning Noon and Night!
