==Maxwell House Cappuccino==
I saw a box of these 8 sachets of the Maxwell House Cappuccino in Poundland a few weeks back and I thought what a nice idea it would be to have a little sachet of something a little special to take into work so for a mere £1 I couldn't resist adding it to my ever increasing shopping basket.
For 12 ½ pence per cup of coffee this is pretty good value for money when you think of what you would pay for a coffee like this in a local coffee shop or a chain. The fact that they are in individual little sachets makes it really easy to take them out and about or just have a spare on or two in my handbag just in case.
The cardboard box they come in is easy to open and has a little lift flap on the top which means you can keep the box in the cupboard and just reach in to get your sachet out. On the front of the box it does give you the calorie and fat content of each sachet which is pretty handy.
Each sachet contains:
6 grams of sugar
1.6 grams of fat (all of which is saturated)
0.3 grams of salt.
The cappuccino is really easy to make and all you need to is tear off the top of the sachet and pour it out into a mug and add boiled water. I filled my mug right up the first time but I would suggest filling it two thirds full to get a stronger and fuller flavour of the cappuccino. The drink powder is very fine and this means that it will dissolve very easily and fast but I do give it a really good stirring as the last thing you want is a lumpy mess at the bottom of your mug!
I did need to add a couple of sugars to mine as I do like a sweet drink but once this was done I have to admit the flavour was really very nice indeed. I didn't have very high hopes for them at first but I will certainly be buying these little sachets again and again. They are very nice and frothy (the excessive stirring helped I think) and the mix of creaminess and coffee taste really is very well done considering the price. Of course the picture on the front of the box shows the mug with a sprinkle of chocolate on the top of the drink which I am missing in mine and it almost makes me want to go out and get some sprinkles to make the drink feel complete.
All in all though these little sachets are a great purchase. They taste super good which is the most important thing and the fact that they are cheap and easy to use and to take places just makes these a really good thing to buy. I think I am more than happy to award a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a very high recommendation! Get yourself down to Poundland and stock up!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
Summary: a great purchase
