I am not a fan of Starbucks or Costa Coffee, as I feel that their coffee is well overpriced. Instead, I prefer to enjoy a good quality instant coffee at home, my favourite being those from the Nescafe 'Cafe Menu' range. In this range, the Latte Macchiato is my firm favourite. I have tried several brands of instant coffee, some which are cheaper and some more expensive than these, but in my opinion, Nescafe are the winners in this market. ===INGREDIENTS=== skimmed milkpowder (33%), vegetable oil, lactose- whey permeate, instant coffee (10%), glucose syrup, stabilizers (E340, E452, E331), Milk Proteins, Flavouring. At a pound on offer for a box (in Asda at the moment) they seemed a very good purchase to me considering they will usually cost more like £1.99 when not on offer! (in all good supermarkets etc). The Packaging: Dark blue box with a picture of a frothy looking latte on the front and I am told that they are Nescafe 'Cafe Menu', Latte Macchiato and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. Other information on the box tells me there ... Read the complete review

This review is of the box of Nescafe Cafe Menu Latte sachets, which come in a box of 8. The box I have differs slightly from the one in the picture, as it just states that the sachets are "latte", but the sachets themselves have "latte macchiato" on them, as the picture suggests. I looked up what this phrase means on the ever useful Wikipedia, and noted that it means "stained milk", which is slightly less appealing than what I was hoping to find. The sachets don't require any complex coffee machine to make, simpy empty the sachet into the required mug and then pour in very hot water before stirring. I mention very hot ...
