Advantages: Tastes yummy

Disadvantages: Very sweet

I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I absolutely adore the Starbucks Christmas range. Included in this range is the 'toffee nut latte'.

The toffee nut latte is a latte flavoured with a sweet toffee and toasted nut syrup. The latte is served with whipped cream and caramelized toffee nut pieces on top.

This latte tastes lovely, you can really taste the toffee nut flavour. The drink is quite sweet, so in my opinion no extra added sugar/sweetener is required. I do like regular coffee with a little spoonful of sugar, so the latte is the perfect sweetness for me. It may not appeal to those of you who prefer your coffee more bitter.

As this latte is an occasional treat, I don't worry too much about asking for it to be made skinny or without the whipped cream. I am unsure of the exact calorie content of the drink, but I imagine it would be pretty high. For those of you counting calories you can ask for it to be made with low fat milk/without the whipped cream, as with all Starbucks coffees.

I love the Starbucks Christmas range as when you order a coffee to go, it comes in the signature red cup with white snowflakes on it. This always gets me really in the mood for Christmas!

The Christmas range in Starbucks usually is priced at about 20-30p more expensive than their regular lattes. I think this is reasonable as you are paying a little more for the novel flavour! I do remember last year that the week the Christmas drinks was launched, they did an offer where from 3pm-5pm if you bought a Christmas coffee you got one free, which is a nice way to give them a try with a friend.

Thanks for reading/rating and I hope you enjoyed my review.

Summary: Hurry up Christmas!
