==Taylors Take It Easy Coffee==
The Taylors range of filtered coffee granules are on special offer at the moment in Morrison's stores for a good price of £2.33 pence for a average sized pack containing 227 grams. This is such a good price compared to all the other brands of filtered coffee that I have stocked up a fair bit and am working my way through the range to see which ones if any I would buy when the price goes back up to normal.
Taylors is a brand which has been making and selling coffee since 1886 so it seems like a brand you can trust and one that is favoured by a lot of people. I hadn't personally heard of the brand before seeing it on offer in Morrison's but I haven't been a coffee drinker for that long either so maybe it was just a brand that had passed me by.
This Take It Easy coffee is a low caffeine product which I thought I would give a try considering I am 38 weeks pregnant and probably shouldn't be overloading myself with too much caffeine for the sake of the baby. I was a little unsure of buying it though as I have been told by hardened coffee drinkers that decaffeinated coffee is really just no where near as nice as regular coffee. For the price though I did think I would give this "low" caffeine coffee a try.
The Take It Easy coffee is a grade 3 strength medium roast coffee made with a blend of 50% decaffeinated Brazilian coffee beans.
This "Take it Easy" coffee is easy to make up using my coffee machine and I add one heaped scoop per mug of coffee that I am planning on having. I always use a coffee filter in my machine even though I don't really have to but this just makes it easier to get all the used coffee granules out once the coffee has been filtered and for the sake of buying a pack of filters for around £1 for 80 filters it makes it a lot easier to keep the machine clean.
The smell of the coffee granules is really lovely and feels very warming as far as an aroma can do. The colour of the Take it Easy Coffee grains is a nice golden brown colour and the size of the grains is the usual small sized pieces which makes it easy for the flavour to come out of the product quickly and easily.
Once I have the machine up and running and the hot water is filtering through over the Taylors coffee granules the smell that I noticed of the raw coffee is highlighted and made even more aromatic and the wonderful coffee aroma is quick to spread around the house and is far better than any air fresher money can buy. The scent is rich and flavoursome and makes me want to get a cup of the good stuff before the brewing process has finished but I have some patients and wait until the machine says I can pour myself a cup.
To the coffee I add a couple of teaspoons of sugar for my taste and I also use the coffee mate that I have recently started using to make for a creamier and far more luxurious tasting coffee drink. The coffee taste itself is not overly strong which is a good thing and there was none of that bitter taste either. I probably wouldn't be able to taste any difference between this low caffeine coffee and any other filtered coffee that I have tried so far and that was a fact I was rather surprised at. The taste was really rather nice and I am sure that the coffee mate helped give this a nice rich and creamier taste.
This Take it Easy Coffee is the second of the range that I had tried and I must say that I was more pleased with this coffee than their previous coffee "Lazy Sunday" which I also really enjoyed. Considering its lower caffeine content and thus better for me in my condition it is a really nice blend which I would be more than happy to buy again and for that reason I feel that a tops core of 5 out of 5 stars and a high recommendation is well deserved!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read
Summary: a great tasting lower caffeine coffee
