coffee for all you coffee lovers out there!

I'm a huge coffee drinker and drink far too much of the stuff! I need it to keep myself awake and know too much is bad for you but so is alot of things in life lol!

      The packaging~
Comes in red and white packaging clearly shows the Tesco value symbol at the top of the packet. 'Everyday Fresh Coffee' can be seen on the front of the packet. The coffee itself is foil packed to keep it fresh for longer!

      The coffee itself~

Dark brown ground coffee with a rich aroma to it. The coffee is medium in strength and is suitable to use in a Cafetiere or coffee machine.

      Directions of use~

Add one dessert spoon to a cafetiere or add more or less to your individual taste requirements, boil some water add the coffee stir well and brew for 3-5 minutes; with the plunger off! The longer it is left to brew the stronger it will be. For those of you who like a weaker coffee I would suggest that you leave it for less than the 3-5 minutes, but those of you who like it like concrete leave it a little longer! It is best stored in the fridge to keep it fresher for longer and stops it going dry. It is recommended to use it within 2 weeks of opening!

      Myself drinking it~

I love coffee and prefer it much more to tea! I'm currently on anti depressents and am always tired so need coffee to keep me alert! I use it in a cafetiere and leave it to brew for al least 5 minutes as I like my coffee rather strong. I usually drink it with coffee mate to give it a nice smooth taste. I find that adding milk makes it go cold rather quickly! I've also tried drinking it black which is rather nice too! This coffee has got to be one of the best I've tryed along with the leading brands I will definately be buying this again and will highly recommend it to all you huge coffee drinkers out there! I hope you enjoy this product.

Available from Tesco stores for the amazing price of around £1.50.

      Additional information~
The weight of this packet of coffee is 227g.
The product is also Rain Forest Certified since 1987.

      An ok, everyday 'plainish' coffee

When it comes to coffee it is a bit of a vice of mine. I love tea but love a brew of coffee made in my cafetiere for a feel of a touch of luxury though one week I had overspent and thought I wouldn't be able to afford any fresh coffee at all, that was until I spotted a Tesco 'Value' one and I thought at £1.48 for a bag it had to be worth a go instead of going without it!

The Packaging the coffee comes in in simple. It comes in a plastic and foil tall bag which has a red blue and white colourscheme to it and on the front of it we are told that it is Tesco 'Value' Everyday Fresh Coffee 'This coffee has been blended and roasted to produce a medium strength all day coffee' and there is a couple of cups of coffee shown on there, we are told that it is Rainforest Alliance Certified, that it is valve packed for freshness and that it is a medium roast coffee (3). Other information listed on the bag includes being told a bit about the product and how to use the coffee (this is suitable for cafetieres and coffee making machines alike), the ingredients are stated as is the size of the bag (which is 227g and the only size I have seen this available to purchase in from Tesco), storage details are given and contact details for the company are as well. Cheap looking packaging this is however I do like the sticky reseal label that this has on the top of it to help reseal in the freshness each and everytime I use it.

      The Coffee Itself:

Dark brown and very fine powder, this has a rich aroma of coffee to it which has a a slighty bitter aroma to it but is rich and does smell good quality opposed to cheap which is what I was dreading before I first opened it.

You use this following the instructions on the bag of course or can adjust it to your own taste and like I say I use a cafetiere.

This makes a dark rich and slightly bitter coffee. I like the fact that although it is a powder I don't end up with a blackish colour sludge to the bottom of my cup and that not too much powder floats or can be detected within the coffee (though to be fair a little can). It has a nice rich aroma to it and like I say a slightly bitter tange but really it is simply a smooth but rich everyday sort of coffee that gives a nice caffeine hit!

This is value for money, none singing and no dancing coffee but it ticks all the right boxes for me living on a budget and provides me with a very drinkable coffee indeed!
