comic book that dares to be different, though Hellblazer could well be the answer to your prayers. Price-wise, it shouldn t set you back an arm and a leg. Some chancer is selling a new copy on Amazon for £98 (!), but if you re prepared to accept a second hand copy, you can pick it up for a couple of quid (I got mine for 50p). stories that at the most are loosely connected to each other, but still collect together to make a great introduction to his solo books. In these stories we see Jamie Delano set out the kind of person John is and where his traits can lead him, for better or worse. He is the cheating anti-hero come con-man, who has no typical comic book powers; he simply gets by with just his wits and an great knowledge of the supernatural. Black magic and the occult are just some of the things that feature in this volume, which is why I would suggest that minors don t read this.
