Personally I have a few email addresses some of them are personal, some of them are from work, some of them are my business and some of them are from college and so I often found myself logging onto a lot of different websites trying to find all my mail.
I finally decided that I needed a mail client which will handle all of it for me and so when I logged on it will bring in all of the mail from the different accounts and so a friend told me about Incredimail.
I googled it to start because I didnt know what the website was and I found it pretty quickly. The installer was very easy to run and then it took me through a wizard to add all of my emails which I went through. Now it is all set up when I start up it automatically checks it for me and I can manage everything within one program and when I have mail a butler comes up and says 'You have mail' which is quite cool.
When you are sending mail you can choose which account it comes from, and then you can add cool 3D effects. The best thing about this program is that it is free. I reccomend it to everyone.
IncrediMail is the worst. Not only does it always contain advertising but with me it TAKES OUT your ENTIRE inbox so that you can't access your mail from another computer or the provider's website. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
I love it! But the only thing is when i send a email out, they dont see my background. The see my animation. The backgrounds come up as attachments and the if i want to add voice to it they too, come up as attachment. I believe they go into wav. files. Makes no sense and the support people dont help one bit. Now you may ask why do I like it so much? Because I like to see all the neat backgrounds and such....even though no one else see it them.
Incredimail Mail Programs is fine but if you wish to upgrade to any of their software then UK buyers beware. The cost is in USD but they will take from your credit card the same amount of UKP. So if it's $29.99 in the US and you come from the UK then they will take £29.99 and you won't get it back.Superhighway Robbery.
I am most impressed with IncrdiMail and have the free version ony.I have tried to purchase it with my Royal Bank of Scotland DEBIT card with Maestro/ Switch in England & Europe which is refused on the Incrediamail site.Louis Victor Hackney. HNC. F.I.Diag.I. uk & Diplo.Inj D.CAN YOU TELL ME HOW I CAN PURCHASE IT all sugestions by incredimail links proove unhelpful
I have premium version and I was happy until last month, when I downloaded update. And surprize, I dont have anymore junkfilter, it was free all the time - damn I payd for this - but now I have to pay 40$ EVERY YEAR. I ask them, please give me back old version but they don't. So I have to delete 100 junkmails in day, and this makes me mad. This kind of companies are not reliable and I never buy any software from them.
Two years ago I purchased what I thought was a fun program. Incredimail was a fun alternative to Outlook. There were a few glitches but it was pretty easy to live with. The Incredimail site was friendly and had a lot of content. Two years later I have a different view of the program. Incredimail has changed...or maybe I just have a better knowledge of the software and the people who are marketing it. As of this review date, they have within the past year and a half, reduced the content avaliable for download on their site. With each version they would say their content would not work and it was removed from the site. Soon there was very little left. The skins, notifiers, animations and stationery was reduced. I emailed them and asked why twice, with no reply. I have also needed to have my key code reset several times and it is almost painful to get them to do this. It takes them several emails and a couple weeks (if you are lucky) to get them to reset it. Now, they have decided to bring back all the missing content from the past year, and will sell it back to you for a subsciption...25.00-50.00. This is on top of the purchase of the software purchase of 49.00! To me this is a very nasty thing to do to there customers. To upgrade is one thing...and you pay an upgrade price for the new software. This isn't NEW software. They are charging you for items you had and they managed to take away....because of the version revisions and the fact that they took it off their site. Those very same items are now considered "GOLD" and to get them back you have to pay them. Wow. I would stay away from this software as a purchase. If you really like it....don't buy it as I did. It was a total waste of money. You can use the free version and use their notifiers......OR try WikMail....which gives you more features (less content because it is still young) for 19.00! Incredimail is a disappointment. The greed is sad. They don't support
the software in a timely manner, they are sneaky in practice. DON'T PURCHASE!
Incredimail has been recommended to me by a vast number of friends and colleagues who consider this to be "Must have" utility. The attraction is based around the features it offers in the way of images and audio, which can be selected and customised for each email. The program really owes it's success to the fact that many people do not use the software they possess to it's full potential. Despite the vast number of emails that I have received that were generated by Incredimail, I have not seen one that could not have been created using Microsoft Outlook. In fact, Outlook possesses many features that are unavailable in Incredimail, such as segregating incoming messages or setting up an autoresponder etc. Naturally the program has it's uses in providing a user friendly way of sending colourful messages, but I consider it to be a great pity that so many computer users are detracted from improving their understanding of other software in the natural learning curve that would normally occur.
Lets face it, writing a letter can be tedious and for this reason the E mail was welcomed as a fine alternative to putting pen to paper and adding a stamp. E mail is no longer the novelty that it once was though and tapping away at a keyboard can produce a piece of writing that looks as boring as pen on paper once did. So what is the answer? How can you make people sit up and take notice when you send them an E mail? The answer is simple.......Incredimail! Incredimail made its debut in the year 2000 and has in my opinion gone from strength to strength. The idea behind Incredimail is to bring E mail to life, wake it up, make it fun. With Incredimail you are able to customise your E mail making it both personal and more efficient. The download itself is available from www.incredimail.com. (Download file size : 6 MB.) Incredimail is easy to download, but there is demo that all you sceptics out there can view before taking the plunge. Incredimail is available in a number of languages including English, French, Italian and German. The programme installs at the flick of a button. Great for me because sometimes the thought of downloading something new is a put off in itself. Incredimail did it all for me and very efficiently to. It chooses the best place to store your files, pops them away neat and tidy and gives you a nice little incredimail envelope to grace your desktop. On commencement of the programme, Incredimail send you a couple of easy to read, bright, colourful E mails to help you get started. I think the thing that impressed me most about this programme was the simple way that it was set up to guide the user. Incredimail has an accounts wizard that helps you by locating your other active email accounts from other email programs on your computer and asking you if you would like to import the same settings from one of the accounts. So you have Incredimail, you have
your E mail account running with it, you need then to import all your contacts and E mail addresses to your new programme. What good is futuristic E mail if you have no-one to write to? You can do this with the click of a button, it's easy. Incredimail supports multiple accounts too and those of you, like me, with Hotmail accounts need not worry, Incredimail supports them too. Another thing I love about this set up is that I feel very much in control and to be honest I think I have definitely learnt something from using it. I use my Incredimail for reading all my E mails from both of my addresses but I was able to choose which of these I wanted to use to send my E mails using. I can feel many of you sitting there worrying that this might be a little complicated for you. I can assure you it's not. I have to admit that I had a problem configuring my Outlook Express settings. I am really not that good at all this technical stuff but setting up my Incredimail accounts was a breeze and filled me with confidence. OK, no more technical info, yes folks, thats about as technical as it gets with me. What makes it so great? Well there are loads of really great things to do with Incredimail. You can choose your backgrounds. No more sending out those flat white pages with 'hello' popped up in corner to attract someones attention. The choice of background is huge and if you don't find anything in your paper section that suits your mood, a click on the download button will take you straight to the Incredimail paper section and you can get yourself a few more, again at the click of a button. Whatever mood you are in, whatever sort of message you want to send, I bet you will find a background that suits you here. You have your background, what about your fonts? You can make your words big, small, curly, straight, high, low, you name it, you got it. You can draw your own signature and add it to
your mail at the click of a button. Incredimail is so much fun. Incredimail emoticons are out of this world. Forget :0) and other old fashioned greetings. I can send kisses, flowers, blow bubbles, little cats and dogs and naughty flies with magnified eyes. If I can't find the one I want, off I go again to the download site and get some more. I can send animations, sounds and even record an audio message to someone and send it with this programme. I have a lot of friends online so I am constantly sending out get well wishes, birthday E cards and Thank you notes. Before I got this programme I would have to scour the net for free E cards and then they get a link rather than the immediate surprise of opening a card. Incredimail gives you your own E card section and again, if you don't find what you want, one click takes you to the E card page where you can download more. OK, so you have your mail, it's looking great all you have to do is send it. You can ask for a read request if you want. This will tell you when your mail has been opened. Click the send button and off it goes, but not like a normal E mail, no, no, this is Incredimail, have you not grasped how innovative this is yet? The mail goes off with a whoosh, maybe it becomes a jigsaw and tiptoes away, or rolls into a scroll and flies off the screen whatever it does it goes with style. I use Norton's Anti virus and whenever I send a mail out it scans it quickly before it goes. Very reassuring. Forgotten to add something important? You have the option to call it back too. My Incredimail checks my accounts for incoming mail every 5 minutes. Why? Because I told it to. You can set it to check as often as you like. When you have mail you can choose how you would like to be notified. This is my favourite option. You could have a butler, walk onto your screen and announce "You have mail Madam" or a little kitty that meows when you
have incoming. The choice is yours and a click of a button will allow you to change your notifier to suit your mood. Whatever you choose, when you have mail, you will know at once. I hope by now I have you all thinking Wow! Well you should, it really is great fun. Knowing you lot though, someone is trying to read between the lines and find the catch. How much is all this going to cost me? Nothing, well not for the stuff I have just told you about anyway. You get it free although you will have to put up with the odd advertisement flashing up in a one inch by four inch box in the corner of the screen. You can manage that can't you? When you download the programme you will be given a free Letter creator option that is yours to use for a month. To be honest I never bothered because I could do most of it with my Incredimail E mail anyway. If you decide that you want to buy it though it will cost you around thirty dollars. There is a premium service for Incredimail too. It will cost you about the same as the letter service and means that you won't get the ads in the corner of the screen and you can add a different notifier to each E mail address in your account. Personally I can put up with the ad and am more than happy with the free service. If you decide to upgrade though, again its at the click of a button. I want to reassure you that because this is a free service you won't get inundated with spam. I don't get any to be honest. I get the odd E mail from Incrediamail, keeping me up to date with a any new additions (about one a fortnight) and everything else is by choice. Have I found anything to complain about? Occasionally I will send a mail and when I talk to the person I sent it to they will say they couldn't see the pictures or the moving emoticons. I have to say though that in the past year the instances of this have decreased. What I usually get is great feedback about the coo
l mail I am able to send. I have sent and received to both Hotmail and AOL. I first tried Incredimail when I got my computer. I was using Millennium then and I have to say it was a little glitchy. I now use XP professional and I have never had a problem. If I do have a problem it is usually because my E mail server is down. (I am with NTL....Need I say more!) Incredimail is a great programme. It's free and it's practical. It makes keeping in touch with your friends so much fun and I have found that my Friends have really enjoyed receiving the mail I send them. Great graphics, great colours, great sound effects too. I love my Incredimail. The layout is good and pleasing to the eye. Navigation is easy and service is fast and efficient. I have found Incredimail to be very reliable. Check out the demo, it won't hurt to look. I think you might like it. They have an extensive question and answer and section and also step by step guidelines to help you decide if this is for you. Thanks for reading Mandxx
This is a great program with great features and it is easy to use. Two things to point out though! It has some spyware in it which is very easy to get rid of. It also is quite unstable and sometimes crashes my computer and mine is a Windows XP Pentium 4 2.40GHz. To get rid of the spyware all you need to do is fully exit IncrediMail and make sure it is all shut down. Then go to "C:\Program Files\IncrediMail\bin. Then find ImHook.dll and delete it. If you don't trust me make a back up of the file first. Oh Yes, one more thing, if you have any probs with the program please don't use tech support because they don't listen to you and they E-mail back with the most stupid solutions. Alot of the time they don't E-mail back at all. For free tech support please E-mail Incredi_Master@msn.com. Please note that not all problems can be solved and some can only be solved in the hands of IncrediMail.
*~*~*INTRODUCTION*~*~* I have been using Incredimail for a few years now; it is very effective email client. Using this will brighten any mail you send, rather than sending the old boring plain white background, in which some people prefer as it is simple and clean, others don?t like me. There are many things you can use with this program to brighten emails up which include things like; Letters, animations, sounds and even e cards. So let me tell you more about this fascinating email client. *~*~*DOWNLOADING/INSTALLING*~*~* Download incredimail from www.incredimail.com this process doesn?t take long to do if you have a fast connection. Choose a destination for the download to be located too, and click ok. Then when finished click on the installation icon as this will start the installation going, this will only take a few minutes if that, again choose a destination for the program to go to then click ok. *~*~*STARTING INCREDIMAIL*~*~* Click on the setup icon on your desktop or in your destination folder which is represented by an orange envelope. When clicked on this you will have a dialog box come up with question on the setup on the incredimail, answering these questions with help with the setup, and your email accounts. The questions are very easy to answer, and will only take a few minutes, incredimail will also search and add your email account if you have one setup on your computer if not you can manually add it. The final question will be if you would like incredimail to be your default email client or not, click either yes or no. *~*~*USING INCREDIMAIL*~*~* After all the above is completed then it is time to have a browse around incredimail client, see what goodies you have that no other email client as to offer. You have the same as any other clients when it comes to your inbox, contact list, mail viewer, folders, outbox, sent and deleted items etc. Let?s get to the exciting part of
incredimail you will see when you go to write a new email that there is a side bar that opens out, this is where you can choose what letter, animation, sounds and e card to use for your mail. You can also have a trip to the incredimail Gallery through this too, at the end of the list, you will notice a shortcut link to get more, click on that and this will take you to a webpage that contains more and more letters, animations, etc, all downloadable and free. Above this section you will see the categories of the things I have named above to use with in your mail. Sending mails couldn?t be more fun with this program, and like any other email client you can change your font, text size and guess what else, you can even add an emoticon how good and different is that. This feature can be found at the side of the text size button. Also you will notice there is a inbuilt spell checker too, so no more spelling mistakes, there is the option of typing sounds either have them on or off, another add feature is 3d effects when sending the email, depending on the letter, etc you choose this will vary on what 3d effect you will have. But all adds to the fun of mailing. Another great feature with this program is the email notifiers, no more keep checking every few minutes to see if you have mail, there are a number of notifiers available for this client; this will pop up when you have got new mail. There is also more you can download from the gallery. You can also download more skins for incredimail client itself but you can only use this option if you have paid for the software unfortunately. The letter creator will let you design your very own letters for incredimail which will get saved to your incredimail letters. I have had lots of fun in using this feature. You will find this in the incredimail folder or when you compose an email then if you look at the bottom of the letters, animations etc, if you click there you can open it. You us
e this by the step by step instructions and guide lines it gives you, it is very simple, once you have chosen which font, picture, image, and sounds you want then save your image on your computer as well as adding into incredimail like you would any letter you download off the internet for incredimail. *~*~*DOWNLOADNG EXTRAS*~*~* Downloading the extras are quick and fast to download this will only take a few seconds, and will automatically add them to your incredimail client in the appropriate category, E.G Letters will be added to letter etc. You can either download the entire collection or by just downloading the odd one out the collection. *~*~*LAST THOUGHTS*~*~* I have enjoyed using this program it brings emails to life and brings more fun to them. You can say so much without typing but just using the letters etc to express your words. This is a great program to use for spicing up your mails and making them less boring. Above all else it is free and so are the additions you can download too, you can be there a long time downloading all the additions; I would know I have been there. It is very easy and simple to setup and use, it is very hard to go back to the old boring plain email default client (outlook express) people may like outlook express as so did I until I came across this and now I wont use anything else.
Incredimail - Advantages: Less prone to virus than OE - Disadvantages: Very poor help, No way to deefault to plain text, Can't learn which of the many files can be deleted for users who want on ly plain text.
E-mails... they can be boring looking things... standard fonts, written in black, on a white background... that's it. Sometimes that's all you need - a boring, but formal looking e-mail has its time and place, but occasionally you want your e-mails to be that little bit more special - that's where IncrediMail steps in! What is IncrediMail? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Put simply, IncrediMail is a great programme that helps you to quickly and easily spruce up your e-mails by adding colour, backgrounds, animations, sounds, voice recordings, emoticons, 3D effects and more to your normally dull and boring e-mails. Additionally it offers features such as an e-mail notifier - this replaces your normal e-mail notification such as the little picture of an envelope appearing in the bottom corner of your screen or the pop up window announcing new mail has arrived, with an animated character (there's a wide variety to chose from) that will personally tell you that a new message awaits. IncrediMail is available from www.incredimail.com where you can download it for free. Originally IncrediMail only worked as a stand-alone programme which would replace (or perhaps be used alongside) your existing e-mail programme (e.g. Outlook). Whilst I knew of people who used IncrediMail and sang its praises I wasn't overkeen on the prospect of losing Outlook Express, my current default programme, which I am familiar with and like using. However, recently IncrediMail have developed a new service which offers all the bells and whistles of the alternative IncrediMail programme, but it's an Outlook Add-On. This means you keep your Outlook Express or Outlook but also get to use IncrediMail - best of both worlds so far as I'm concerned. This Add-On is still under some development and as such is currently offered for users to 'beta-test' - this is basically the option to download the product and test it out for IncrediMail, giving I
ncrediMail the chance to iron out any bugs and allow users to report back on any problems they come across as and when they happen before it's launched as a full product. What does the New IncrediMail for Office - Outlook Add-on actually do? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As per the standard IncrediMail programme, the Outlook Add-on can be downloaded from www.incredimail.com - go to the site, click on the download tab at the top of the page then look for the option to 'Test Our New Product'. Once downloaded IncrediMail the first change you notice is that a new toolbar has appeared within Outlook, with buttons for 'Notifier', 'Gallery', 'Letter Creator', 'Premium', 'Beta Feedback' and 'More'. Notifier: Clicking on the Notifier button allows you to select your new notifier - a basic selection of characters are instantly available, however you have the option to download further characters and animations to act as your notifier (these don't take long at all to download). Notifiers range from a butler appearing and announcing 'New mail, sir', to a holographic futuristic type image that says 'Message waiting for you' in a metallic sounding voice, to a little puppy dog running towards you yapping with a little envelope in his mouth... there's plenty more besides - some are just sounds if that's what you prefer. You also have the option to use the same notifier all the time or a random notifier from those you have downloaded - alternatively you can set a Smart Notifier so that should an e-mail arrive from a certain person you have a particular notifier announce that their message has arrived. Gallery: This is a link to the website page showing all the additional downloads that are available. You can choose from a wide variety of Letters, Animations, E-Cards, Sounds and Notifiers. Letter Creator: Thi
s is a sort of bonus feature that seems to only be available for a short period of time. It's basically a sample of an additional programme offered by the same company that helps you to create letters that are as imaginative as your new e-mails. Premium: ...is a link to the site that offers you the option to purchase the premium version of IncrediMail. Beta Feedback: ...allows you to quickly send any feedback you have on the new product to IncrediMail. More: This brings up a menu of additional options such as a help feature or links to various parts of the IncrediMail Website. Creating E-mails: ~~~~~~~~~~~~ To write an e-mail you take exactly the same steps as you normally would using Outlook / Outlook Express (i.e. click on New) - your window will appear as per normal to create your e-mail, however there's an extra box attached to the side of the window that includes tabs for 'letters', 'animations', 'sounds' and 'e-cards'. In brief, clicking on each of these tabs brings up a list of categories (e.g. under animations there are categories for animals, nature and romance) - clicking on one of the categories then brings up a list of the animations or letter styles etc. that are available - clicking on one of these inserts it into your e-mail. It really is as simple as pointing and clicking. If you aren't in the mood for making decisions, a new 'Random' button within your e-mail window, once clicked, will select a random background / style for your e-mail. Additional buttons within the e-mail window are 'Signature' (allows you to create a hand-written style signature using the mouse and save / insert it into your e-mails), 'Emoticons' (an extensive bunch of smileys, symbols and dancing letters to insert into your e-mail), 'Recorder' (which so long as you have the right equipment allows you to record a short voice message to in
sert into your e-mail), '3D' (gives the option to display 3D items or not), 'Premium' and 'More' (which are as per the buttons on the new Outlook toolbar). Conclusion ~~~~~~~~~ I am really impressed with 'New IncrediMail for Office - Outlook Add-on' - the fact that it leaves my Outlook Express as it should be, and just (as the programme title suggests) 'adds-on' the IncrediMail features means that it's easy to send either a standard e-mail, or with a few clicks, a lively animated colourful e-mail. The notifiers are great and because of the huge range of lively talkative characters and subtle sound notifiers it means that there's always something to chose that will suit your personality or mood. Although the Add-On version of IncrediMail isn't considered a finsished product as such just yet you certainly wouldn't notice that from using it. I have experienced no problems or glitches with it as yet. I still wouldn't consider downloading the original full version of IncrediMail, but that's just because I'm so used to all the features in Outlook Express that there's some I would miss if they weren't available in the full version of the programme, but I believe in this Add-On programme you really do get to combine IncrediMail and Outlook perfectly. IncrediMail is definitely worthy of 5 stars!!! (Further information and demo's are availble from the website)
I think that this is a great email program to personalise emails and to make them look vibrant. Everyone should have it. If you are used to using Microsoft Outlook then it wont be difficult because it is much like it except it is more fun and easier to use. You can download lots of different scenarios of the internet for it. Also, the notifiers are funny. These pop up when you receive an email with a sound and an animation. This is a great program and i reccomend it to anyone who wants to send emails with ease.
