I have recently returned to Mozilla Firefox after being forced to return to windows internet explorer for a year as the 'blackboard' software used by my university was not compatible with Mozilla Firefox. Finally the software was upgraded and I have returned to Firefox and it has proven to be even better than I remembered! The speed compared internet explorer is very noticeable and the software scans every download for viruses before allowing your computer to access it which gives added security. New to me this time has been ad blocker, a downloadable plug-in which does what it suggests and blocks the annoying adverts which seem to plague my laptop especially when shopping online. For new users who are considering the change from internet explorer the set-up of Firefox is not much different, if more aesthetically pleasing and simpler with less toolbars and the option to remove any toolbars you do manage to accumulate. In-fact the change can be so subtle that it took my dad almost a month to realise I had changed my parents laptop to Firefox and he only noticed when the refresh button proved to be slightly elusive! Defiantly much better than internet explorer, the only reason internet explorer is standard is because it's windows!! Don't be afraid to upgrade!

Summary: brilliant, best browser out there, makes surfing the web much more secure!
