Advantages: Standards compliant as well as providing great functionality.

Disadvantages: Not the fastest available.

Firefox is becoming the browser of choice for both professionals and home users alike proving a serious challenger for Internet Explorer's crown of Browser king. With the ability to download built-in applications through the browser itself to perform almost any task as well as faster browsing than IE could ever provide this browser is ideal for both Linux and Windows users alike.

This is one of the browsers I use personally due to in-built applications such as DownThemAll which is both a download manager and accelerator as well as the ability to add customizable themes to suit you computer or desktop theme.

Firefox is so easy to use and has more security and privacy options than some of its competitors. Furthermore, in the event of a power outage or unexpected shutdown, Firefox will remember the last page you visited so that you do not lose valuable time or information due to an act of God.

Summary: A good browser for professionals and home users alike.
