Advantages: Great web browser with ease of use and customisability

Disadvantages: Not the most reliable browser and is prone to crashes

Mozilla Firefox is another great and probably the most popular Internet browser, making surfing the web and fun and enjoyable experience.

Setting up Mozilla Firefox is quick and easy, the setup file isn't too large and can be downloaded off Mozilla's website extremely quickly. Mozilla Firefox is compatible with all main operating systems and has the same functionality throughout. During the install there is also the option to import data from your previous browser, which means any bookmarks, favourites etc. can be transferred over quickly.

The browser itself looks great on all systems, although the Windows and Linux are slightly more colourful than the Mac version. All the usual features you would expect from a modern web browser can be found and are all easily accessible with shortcuts similar on all platforms.

The main feature that puts Mozilla Firefox ahead of it competitors is it's customisability included add-ons, plug-ins and themes all available to download from Mozilla's website. This resource is full of first and third party downloads for you to get a browser experience that suits your needs.

The main problem I have with Firefox is that it is prone to crashes, which can be extremely annoying if you have important things loaded on tabs. As well as this Firefox just isn't as fast as Safari and Google Chrome when it comes to loading web pages, images and there's even a delay when switching tabs. That said it is still much faster than Internet Explorer.

Overall Mozilla Firefox is a brilliant Internet browser and is highly recommended. The only reason that I use it as my secondary browser is that I prefer the stability and features of Safari. All in all Firefox does a great job and is one of the best modern browsers for customisation and add-ons.
