Fax facilities are far from a necessity to me, but they can be quite useful and once you have experienced the convenience of this type of medium it becomes more difficult to do without. I have been using Win Fax 9.0 almost as long as I've had a computer. Maybe the reason I have had no problems is that a more experienced friend configured the modem for me, as I would not have dared to tangle with that. I purchased WinFax Pro 10. and installed it on my PC. The next time I tried connecting to the internet, I got an error message that my modem was tied up by another device(obviously WinFax). They have no free customer support; their support is very expensive. I solved the modem problem by uninstalling WinFax Pro. I will not install it ... Read the complete review
