Great speakers/ HI-FI set, great sound, great price£

theses are a very good set of speakers they a very loud however they are quite big and for a small room that's a problem i suppose its not too bad these speakers are still great though i would recommend buying them as they aren't a bad price for the sound they emit.

as well as this when you turn them to full volume the room practically shakes that's how loud they are (cool!!!) anyway i bought my Hi-Fi set for around £100 there great if you have a large room that you want to fill with so much sound and the power they use isn,t bad either i would recommend this Hi-Fi set to anyone that has a large space... however the only problem is if you don't have dark furniture you might want to hide them as they do not suit the room (the appearance of your room may be ruined) as well as this they take up quite a bit of space large room needed!!!

the bass sound that comes out of these when you play music/sound is great WOW im soo happy i bought these speakers (HI-FI set) and i hope you guys buy them to as there brilliant

these are great for younger people as they do go quite loud however i suppose there is a volume button if you wish to lower the sound. (great speakers, great price, sooo loud)

i hope you guys read my review and consider buying these as they are such good speakers/ HI-FI-SET

      thanks for reading

      A deep insight.

I first read this book at the age of 14. I borrowed it from the school library upon recommendation from a friend. Within a few pages I was hooked and couldn't put it down. It has quite a dramatic beginning and at first I wasn't sure I wanted to continue. As you can probably gather by the title, this book confronts a fair few racial issues which I found interesting at the time, I admit I was quite an innocent teenager and became rather emotional about some of the points made in the book and didn't quite believe that things like that existed in 'real life'. I think the storyline is quite harsh in that I don't really believe it has a happy ending. It's a relatively easy read and the font is quite big. When first read it I finished in two days but it can be read in a day in my opinion if you have nothing else to do. You come across some very sensitive issues and I would be careful about giving it to younger children to read due to some of the language used, not very often I may add but still. A great book all in all I bought it as an adult and have recommended it to many friends that have borrowed and enjoyed it. It is a book that you will want to pick up more than once and will be just as emotional as the first time you read it. Get you're opinion head on.

      Standard Phone

I bought this phone after losing my previous Sony Xperia M as I really loved that phone. I was somewhat disappointed by this model. Its a good size in my opinion and I suppose it does what most people want a mobile phone to do but its nothing special. Its not very good for browsing the internet or checking emails. The camera is good enough though I prefer cameras that take instant pictures rather than having to wait a few seconds from click to the photo being taken. this phone is not particularly stylish compared to a lot of the new phones out at the moment its a bit of a funny shape. I don't think that the sound is very good quality when playing back videos and its not the right size phone to watch videos on anyway. Its a compact pocket size phone not brilliant for apps or games or anything like that. The touchscreen on mine is very annoying. It has little frenzy moments when you have to turn it off and on again to get the touchscreen to work but that may not apply to all of the phones that may just be a fault with mine. Also when in the middle of a phone call it tends to open up all sorts of programmes and cut off the person that i'm talking to and then takes a long time to sort itself out. Its ok for texting, pretty standard. All in all I think this phone is quite low in the rankings compared to most on the market these days. Shame because a lot of the Xperia models I have found to be brilliant.

      RADOX SLEEP EASY BATH FOAM

I take a shower every morning when time is limited but do enjoy a nice long soak in the bath especially during the cold winter months. I also find that having a warm bath before bedtime helps me to sleep. I have a range of bath products and always like to add a good dose to ensure lots of lovely soft bubbles.

The Radox range has been around for as long as I can remember with new additions being added to the range frequently. I often shop in Boots and as Radox is currently on offer at just £1 for a large 500 ml bottle so I picked up a couple the last time I was in the shop. One of my choices was the sleep easy bath therapy which contains lavender, camomile and Jasmine; all ingredients I love.

Radox sleep therapy comes in a plain clear plastic bottle with screw top lid. The clear plastic allows the navy blue liquid to show through. I really don’t think the Radox packaging would win any beauty prizes!

I find the most effective way to ensure plenty of lovely bubbles is to pour a little of the liquid under fast running water. I find a few cap falls is enough to produce plenty of bubbles. The scent of the bath foam is ok, however it isn’t very strong and I was hoping that the lavender scent would be more prominent. It did produce lots of bubbles that remained for the duration of my bath so a better score here!

After my bath my skin felt soft and moisturised. However the lack of scent was a disappointed for me. I am not sure that this particular bath foam helped me to sleep any better than other bath foams I have in m y collection. Would I buy it again? Probably when it’s on offer the answer would be yes. However there are bath foams on the market that smell a lot better than this one although not for that price!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A thoroughly enjoyable day out.

I would like to tell you abount 'Plumpton College Open Day'. This very well organised event is usually held on the second Saturday of May, and the event starts at around 10 am. This is a yearly event and, come rain or shine, the college is attended by thousandS of people. The 'Open Day' is primaily for prospective students, parents of students already studying courses at the college and the general public.

There are lots of demonstrations laid on by the 'Young Farmers' organisation and also by students of the college. Everything is carried out to an extremely high standard.

We have been attending the 'Plumpton College Open Day' for the past twenty years and have never been disappointed. There is such a lot of fine displays to see. We are particularly interested in the vast amount of plants and bushes grown and tendered by the students; all looking very fresh and bursting with colour. These are sold at very reasonable prices.

There are also numerous stalls on the fields and around the paths selling various merchandise and also an Art and Craft section in a large hall within one of the buildings.

It is really a pleasurable day for all families. They even have a bouncy castle for young children.

One event I must comment on is the dog show which is always well attended showing a variety of breeds.

Tea rooms are provided together with numerous vans selling food, sweets an candyfloss.

I consider this to be a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

      • "Strong female leads"
      • Awesome

      Disadvantages

      • "Can't track it down"

Some good strong anime - a series I grew up with

I absolutely love Sailor Moon - I used to watch it as a kid and while the other girls wanted to be Snow White or Cinderella, I wanted to be Serena, Sailor Moon herself. I mean, come on, why wouldn't you want to be a moon princess who kicks butt instead of a boring old meet the prince and get married kind of girl?

Not that there isn't romance here, the mysterious tuxedo mask provides enough of that sort of things for the romantics among you, albeit verging towards the teenage gushing at times.

And there are cats! Magical, wise, guardian cats - what more could you want?

There are strong leads in the form of Serena and the other 'Sailor' princesses - the cast changes a little as it goes along, but the stand-outs are Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury. I always loved Sailor Mars, despite the fact that she's a bit of a rival to Sailor Moon she has a good heart and a wonderfully fiery spirit. Female characters who can look out for themselves and their friends - that's what we need more of, particularly in sci-fi and fantasy!

Unfortunately, these days (look at me, sounding so old!) it can be difficult to track down a showing of good ol' Sailor Moon - it was on Fox Kids (ahhhh, more reminiscing,) when I was a kid, but has sort of faded from view as of late. It's very possible that it's available on Netflix or a similar service, but as I don't have a subscription to these, I don't really know. DVD box-sets are available on Amazon etc., but you have to be careful that their region compatible with your DVD player, and language compatible with yourself! The prices also vary a lot.

      A useful kitchen tool

I enjoy using the Wilton angled spatulas when decorating cakes with buttercream or other icing. The design makes it easy to use when working with frosting.

It's also nice that you can use the spatula for other purposes. You can use it to place adornments onto cakes and cupcakes, such as royal icing pieces. You can also use it to lift cookies off of a cookie sheet, or cupcakes out of a cupcake pan. You can also use it as a cake tester by sticking the blade in the middle of a cake to see if it has baked throughly.

Another great aspect is that the spatulas come in two sizes, one is large and one is small, so you can have just the spatula you need to complete the job you are doing.

This fondant smoother is a useful cake decorating tool. You can use one fondant smoother on top of the cake and another along the sides of the cake, to help stabilize and smooth out the fondant of the cake. These fondant smoothers are easy to grip and are a good size for large or small hands. They also work very well with just about any size of cake that a home cook would make.

      Hug it our Bi-atch!

If you haven’t seen the show its about four male friends from Brooklyn who head out west to make their names in Hollywood, we, the viewers, picking up their experiences in series one as the oldest of the four, the super cute Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), makes it big as a movie star in the blockbuster ‘Head On’. Vincent’s dim brother Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon, brother of Matt) is also an actor, but not so successful, the TV star of Viking Quest, whilst chubby hustler Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) does the driving and security. The brains of the operation is childhood friend Eric (Kevin Connolly), trying to keep the dream alive as Vincent’s manager in the cutthroat world of movie deal making, rubbing up against Vincent’s slimy agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven), and a loveable guy for that.

The guys experiences and events in the show are roughly based on Mark Wahlberg and his crew’s early days in Hollywood when the Boston boy made it big in Boogie Nights, big time hell raisers back in the day, Wahlberg the hands on Executive Producer here to make sure the show became a reality and authentic as possible. At first the cast were reticent on whether the idea would work and some of them nearly turned it down, Grenier with his bubble perm not looking much like Mark Wahlberg. But eight series later it all turned out spectacularly well and one of the most popular boxsets in American TV history. To give you a clue to the style of the show it’s a kind of Curb Your Enthusiasm meets the vapid Orange County, a younger version of Larry David’s brilliant reality TV sitcom.

Superstar to be Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) has just finished ‘Queens Boulevard’, getting the ‘cool’ indie film experience out of his system, now in the edit suit with temperamental director Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro) as the boys plot their next move for super stardom. Ari (Jeremy Piven) wants Vince to do ‘Aquaman’, a big budget comic book adventure but Vince not keen to play a cheesy superhero just yet. He reminds Ari of The Phantom with Billy Zane.

Ari gets Eric (Kevin Connelly) to persuade him to do Aquaman as it will be great for all of their careers, the money running out and the boys now living beyond their means in a huge house with even bigger cars. All the revenue comes from Vince’s career to keep the dream going for all of them and so it’s a reciprocal deal.

Vincent’s interests perks up when James Cameron (James Cameron) is connected to the project, the star maker himself, so Vince finally agrees to do it. Things improve further when Vince gets to pick his leading lady from five possible names, Mandy Moore (Mandy Moore) getting the job as Aquagirl. Vince is a notorious ladies man and has previous with Moore, which could derail the movie. Meanwhile the boys enjoy the delights of Hollywood with money finally coming in, including the annual Playboy Mansion Party, Drama banned for life by Heffner for helping Pauly Shore release Hugh’s pet monkeys the previous year!

Season one took three or four episodes to get into its rhythm as the dynamic between the boys and the various Hollywood sharks needed to settle down. But season two has a lot more confidence and the boys well and truly settled in their roles, bringing extra warmth to the show as you pull for the main characters and laugh with them. The male friendship bond is the main driver to the show and there are more celebrity cameos here as the guest stars also get the joke and send themselves up, James Cameron particularly keen to use the opportunity to soften his notorious image. I have to say I have not heard of Mandy Moore but apparently she is a big star in her own right in America, most of this series centered on the romance.

Entourage is funny as it is snug and the guest stars playing themselves great fun, the first series of Entourage shot after at least three series of Curb Your Enthusiasm and so having a good template to pull on. The writing is smart, sharp and funny and cleverly mixes that up with the more sex, booze and bikini stuff, Jeremy Pivens agent character enjoying ripping into current and older stars with cutting lines. Both adults and teenagers can laugh at this, a rare skill. I wouldn’t say there is a specific age range that would enjoy it but it’s definitely presented as younger peoples TV although a lot of the in-jokes are aimed at older people with a great mix of humor on show, E4 its home if it was on British TV.

      Useful, multi-purpose tool

The Wilton pastry wheel is a tool I use frequently. The plastic coating is easy to grip and use. It is also dishwasher safe, which makes my life easier.

I enjoy that you have two different blades on this. One is a basic round blade, perfect for cutting straight lines into fondant, or even cutting a pizza or pie dough. The fluted blade is unique and useful when you want to have a more fancy design, particularly when it comes to pastry.

My pastry wheel is yellow and white. I would prefer if you can select the color you want among a variety of colors, instead of just having one color available at a time. Though, Wilton does change the colors from time to time. It's a minute detail, but yellow and white isn't my favorite combination.

      • Convenient

      Disadvantages

      • "Doesn't scrape the bottom of the bowl thoroughly"

A convenient kitchen tool I use frequently

Our KitchenAid stand mixer is a rather indispensable kitchen tool. I use it most frequently to mix cake batter. It's great that there are multiple speeds so you can mix slowly and then more quickly, as the recipe dictates. Being hands-free while mixing is an excellent plus as well.

I enjoy using other attachments KitchenAid makes. So far I have used the ice cream maker, juicer, and food mill. All of these items work successfully. I am looking forward to using the various pasta attachments too.

My one small criticism is that when mixing batters, flour is stuck to the bottom of the bowl. The beater doesn't quite mix the batter all the way, so you have to use a separate spatula to scrape the bottom (and sides) of the bowl before pouring the batter into a pan. There may be a separate beater available for purchase that scrapes the bowl better. I will have to look into that.

A final minute detail: the mixing bowl is easy to screw on and off of the KitchenAid, and that's nice. But the bowl doesn't have a handle, and a handle for pouring would be useful. However, you may be able to purchase a separate bowl that does have a handle.

      • "Two choices to give the dog"

      Disadvantages

      • "My dog became bored of taste after a while"
      • "can look 'dodgy' in the bowl"

A dog food that acts like a gravy ....???? what ever's next...????

I've tried giving my dog a variety of foods, trying to stay as close as I can to the Bakers complete choice, eventually landing at the bakers complete that he eats now. During the trip down food choice avenue we stumbled up on a food that is dry as well as wet??? and this is that food, which kept me and my dog in the bakers complete road to happiness.
It may sound crazy, but this food can be given both dry, which is a matter of dropping the required amount into the bowl and letting your dog begin feasting, and wet, which means pouring some warm water, (boiled and allowed to cool), over the dry food in the bowl so that the food begins to look like it's moulded together. Either way the food is as good as it should be. I do have to say that if you use hot water make sure that the food is cooled down enough so that it is not going to harm to dog.

As I said, I tried my dog on this as he seemed to be getting a little bored with the other food he was on, so, as this was on offer, I gave it a go. At first he seemed to like it, although not as much when I used the moist method. He did not seem to like it when it was mushed up. But as dry food he wolfed it down, although some bits he nosed out of the bowl and onto the floor. But most of the food he ate.
But, as usual, he was soon nosing most of the food out of the bowl, eating only the meaty parts and some of the green pieces. The rest had to be swept off the floor. This made me change back to his 'normal' bakers food which I know he loves. But you have to try these things.

It contains all that is needed for a healthy dog, protein, fibre, carbohydrates, calcium, mineral and iron, which covers everything from bones to stamina, running around to rolling around.

The cost of this two in one dog food is depends on the size box/bag you want. For example, a 1.3kg box is about £2.50, where as a larger 3kg bag sells for about £6.00.
you can get larger bags, 15kg, for about £20 from many big pet shops, which is good value for money but if your dog goes off the food you're stuck with a lot of food that needs to be thrown away.

We bought the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" primarily for downloading colorful magazines and reading books. Overall I am very pleased with how it has performed. The graphics are top quality and the books are quite readable. The device also downloads books and magazines quite quickly. I also enjoy being able to connect quickly and easily to Amazon.com in order to find more books and download them instantaneously. I also enjoy seeing the suggestions for new books after I have downloaded books, or finished reading a book. And it's excellent that you can rent library books that go straight to the Kindle Fire HDX.

When I use the Facebook application and try to click on web links in statuses, oftentimes I am navigated to comments instead of the webpage I was trying to reach. Also when I type, it's nice that there is a bar of suggested words I can click on. But sometimes the spacebar doesn't get tapped properly so I am accidentally stringing together words. And sometimes I am auto-corrected when I would prefer not to be auto-corrected. I am still getting used to navigating Facebook. If you click away from the keyboard sometimes the keyboard disappears in the middle of something you were trying to type. But you can navigate back to what you were typing.

The Silk web browser is easy to use. I use it quite frequently.

I'm glad that I can access many (if not all) of the same applications and games that I enjoy on my iPhone with the Kindle Fire. It is more fun to use them with the much larger screen.

      Dell Latitude 10-Mini desktop wanabe

In light of all my reviews today,I wanted to do another about a strange Windows 8 tablet, that promises to be somewhat of a Chromebook, but comes without portable keyboard options. So yeah, basically you are forced to turn this in the display of your new PC if you want some more tactile feedback,I really don't know what they were thinking.

Specifications of the Dell Latitude 10

CPU 1.8-GHz Intel Atom Z2760 Processor
      RAM Included 2GB
      Storage Drive Size 64GB
Display Size 10.1 with Display Resolution 1366x768
Graphics Chip Intel Graphics Media Accelerator
      OS Windows 8 Pro
      Camera Resolution 8MP
      Size 10.8 x 7.0 x 0.4 ~ 0.6 inches
      Weight 1.6 ~ 1.8 pounds

      My personal review

I REALLY LIKE-It's not only durable, it offers a host of security and manageability features IT managers will appreciate. Snap in the 4-cell battery, and you get a device that lasts all day -- and most of the night.Despite of the great battery, even better is the price,it's on the cheap side of things, this makes it perfect for your office job.
It also looks good,Dell covered the Latitude 10's rounded edges and rear panel with a soft-touch material that's not only pleasing to the touch, but also makes gripping the tablet easier,on the back though,it's kind of busy and ugly.If there's one thing the Latitude 10 has in spades, it's ports and the very best about it it's the display.
The Latitude 10's 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 IPS display offered sharp, colorful visuals that belies its underwhelming resolution and easily goes further than average.

WHAT I DO NOT LIKE-The Latitude 10's stereo speakers, located on its back panel, the speakers produces a clean sound, but lacks bass. The Latitude 10 features Microsoft's standard Windows 8 on-screen keyboard, which isn't a Wow factor, and also has a pen input, which i hate with all my body and soul.Performance is mediocre,it can handle mails, goes through pages well enough and does light gaming, but that's about it.The worst about it is probably the The Productivity Dock they offer, which basically converts it in a small desktop PC for quite the price,I find it useless and pricey and covers a lot of space.

For the buck it's a great bang, but only if you use it like a tablet,it's simply not worth the extra.

      Acriflex burn gel

      WHAT IS IT?

This is gel to put onto areas of skin where you have burned yourself.

      WHY DID I BUY IT?

I am a beautician and I burn myself often on hair straighteners and curling tongs. The burns occur always on my fingers and my hands and I can not stop work for very long to treat the burn because my lady will not want to wait for me for too long. I bought this so that I can apply it to a burn and stop it hurting for long enough so I can finish off my work.

      HOW DO YOU USE IT?

This comes in a tube so you have only to squeeze the gel onto the burn and then pat it in a little bit. You can cover your burn or leave it open and that is up to what you think is best but I always cover mine to start with because I think that helps with the pain.

      WHAT I THINK

I do not think this burn cream is very effective and it does not help it when I have the pain from a burn. It makes the area feel cooler but that does not make it feel better or stop burning.

It smells nicer then other burn gels I have used but it is the very least one that has been effective for me. I do not like the feel of the gel also because it has got a greasy feel that does not get dry for a long time. That does not please me when my burns are on my finger pads because I cannot hold things while my fingers are greasy and painful from a burn.

      ANYTHING ELSE

This cost about £4 and it was a waste of my money because it does not make my burns feel better and I am not going to use it again or finish the tube.

      1 Dooyoo Star.
