I will only purchase this salt from now on!

Lots of evenings my mate comes and has dinner round at mine. The other day she bought in a tub of salt complaining we can't find mine (I've still got boxes in my newish flat I haven't unpacked yet) so she got this one on route to mine from Asda. I was pretty pleased as well....I am a saltaholic after all!

      The Packaging:

The salt comes in a white, red and light blue plastic coloured tub with holes to the top of it that do not have a safety feature so once you have removed the sticky label from the top of it it remains open. On the front of the tub we are told that it is Saxa Fine Sea Salt 'No need to grind' and that it weighs 65g. On the back of the tub other information listed includes ingredients, the weight is again stated and contact details for The Premier Food Group (the manufacturer of the product) are given. Nice enough salt tub this, informative enough though not being able to make sure the salt can't escape is a bit annoying though!

      The Salt Itself:

The salt is white in colour and kind of crystalised in its appearance. It has been pre grined this one so isn't powdery but small granules. You can of course use this for seasoning food whilst cooking or using straight onto foods and both me and my mate love this one!

It has a natural salty taste of salt to it and thats it basically. I find I need less of this on my food than powdered salt and because it is very well grounded it isn't gritty on food at all.

Full of flavour this is simply superb quality looking and tasting salt and I highly recommend it for salt lovers!

This costs about 39p a tub in all good supermarkets etc and I think that is a wonderful price for a top quality salt!
