Bausch & Lomb PureVision Contact Lenses

Purevision are a disposable soft contact lens that you can wear continuously for 30 days. This review is aimed at those who already wear contact lenses, as I doubt that anyone would use continuous wear lenses as their very first lenses. I have a fairly strong prescription (-7.50). I read the only other review on these contact lenses and fall to the conclusion that he is right in many aspects. my prescription is -4.50 in my right eye. I feel that the contact lenses are fantastic and its a wonderful feeling that when you wake up you can see...but thats not strictly true as depending on how bad you eye sight is...you may wake up having blurry sight for a few second like i did...every night for the last 180 nights, yes the blurriness went but always felt worried about washing the lense out of my eye. I had been wearing monthly disposable contact lenses for about five years when my optician suggested I try these new ones. I took them out once a week, overnight, as recommended, just to give my eyes the chance to breathe, but otherwise left them in 24/7. I had no problems at all and absolutely loved the freedom they gave me: no more fiddling around on a nightly basis with solution and sticking my fingers into my eyes. These contact lens are the monthly wear ones. I have been using these since they first came onto the market several years ago. I have strong prescription -7.5 in both eyes. I work shifts so had found it really difficult to use conventional contact lens as I never seemed to get the hang of them especially with night shifts. I had been wearing glasses for years, until one day my optician says "have you ever tried contacts". So I thought I would give them ago. They are a soft lense and allow a high percentage of oxygen through to the eye. On first putting these in I wont pretend they where comfortable straight off.
