I have been a soft contact lens wearer for the past fifteen years.
I have used several cleaning solutions over that period. All except the one i am using now have allowed deposits to build up on the lens surface despite using protein tablet removers as well and were a complete pain to use.
My worst experience was whilst i was using the two step solutions.
I was late for work and went to put my lenses in in a hurry. After putting one in my eye i was overcome with instant agony - i had not rinsed off the cleaning solution with the neutralising solution - never again!! One bright red bulbous eyeball later and blurred vision for a while i decided it was time to look for a safer solution to use to clean my lenses.
This is when i discovered 'renu multiplus' FANtastic!! It does the lot cleans, rinses, disinfects, lubricates and stores your contact lenses all with one solution.
Completely hassle free formula for keeping your lenses as good as new.
I have used it for three years now and had no problems whatsoever.
I have found that i do not have to replace my contact lenses as often (i wear lenses that have a life of approximately one to two years.)
Renu multiplus changed my life when i started using it.
Before i found an alternative to the two step solutions i was scared that i was going to make the same mistake.
It also saves a lot of time as it used to take me around half an hour a day to care for my lenses now i only have to take them out at night, put them into the solution in the pot provided and put them in in the morning!
No monthly protein removing sessions, which cost a fortune!
I buy my solutions via mail order in boxes of three at around £30 pounds a time which lasts me around six months.
It comes in a white plastic bottle with a screw lid so there is no leakage on trips.
In Boots etc a 240ml bottle costs around £9.50. Which las
ts around two months.
It is also available in a travel sized bottle which is enough for a fortnight or more which is great for holidays, saving space etc.
It is a very gentle solution that does a great job.
It is safe and saves an awful lot of hassle.
