I work in an office and over the course of a day, the room can become very dry and the air very warm, which is not good news for the eyes. Added to the problem is the fact that I wear contact lenses which I often take out in the afternoon as they have become so uncomfortable by then. I purchased Boots Comforting Eye Drops to use straight after I had taken out my lenses, in the hope that these would refresh my eyes again. I was a little disappointed with the product. Whilst they are very easy to use and they were comfortable when first went in, I tended to find that the effects wore off rather quickly and that I would be reaching for the bottle ... ==Boots Comforting Eye Drops== Being a contact lens wearer my eyes seem to get sore very quickly throughout the day especially if I am in smoky atmospheres or using a lot of computer which I do a lot of both! There really is nothing much to help the eyes other than a messy eye bath (where you can't have lenses in) or some nice eye drops. I carry around eye drops with me no matter where I am going and always have a bottle if not two in my handbag at any one time. If I do by chance forget to put a bottle in my bag I will more often than not need to go out and buy a bottle. The Boots comforting Eye Drops are one of the cheaper alternative ... There’s nothing worse for a contact lens wearer than getting something in your eye. Almost as bad is when your eyes get dry and irritated when you’re tired or have been working long hours on your computer. Sometimes, even a bout of dry weather can cause problems with my lenses. And certainly one culprit is air conditioning and heating - especially on airplanes or long drives in your car. There is very little one can do to help you survive until you can remove your lenses and rest your eyes. But one solution is to find a good eye drop that will give you temporary relief.
