The solution is a clear water like product which is preservative free and has no dour to it. ==Boots Sterile Saline== Going through stages of wearing monthly disposables or daily disposables means that I seen to have such a collection of contact lens related items and having a clear out I came across this bottle of Sterile Saline from Boots which is now out of date and needs to be thrown away. This solution is of course only available from Boots but it is in most of their stores and doesn't cost too much. At £3.63 pence for a very large bottle of 360 ml you seem to really get your monies worth when buying this product. Recently, after changing to Specsavers as the provider of my contact lenses, I have been having a lot of problems. Nothing to do with Specsavers at all, but to do with both their solution (which didn't agree with my eyes) and a new type of lens. On my last check up in Specsavers, my eyes were stinging and smarting after putting in my contact lenses in the morning, and they were still like that when I got to Specsavers. The optometrist in Specsavers, who was very efficient, came to the same conclusion that I did, that my eyes did not like the solution that they had provided, and she also told me that my eyes were quite dry.
