These are the best multi-focal lenses I have tried and they have the best balance between reading vision and distance vision. In my experience the trouble with multi-focals is that you either sacrifice the distance to get better reading strength or you sacrifice the reading strength to get better distance. They fit on my eye properly which means that they don't slip and therefore when you look quickly between far away objects and reading, the lens stays in the correct position. They are extremely comfortable but can feel dry sometimes. They are quite flimsy and delicate and I have broken a few before even putting them in my eye! So watch out for this. It has taken me well over a year trying many different multi-focal lenses before I came across these, which I must say are by far the best. At last I feel safe enough to wear contact lenses again and my optician clarified this when he told me they have a higher reading strength than most other multi-focals. Be prepared to try many different strengths to get the right balance between reading and distance.
