Desperate to save some money in terms of my contact lens bill, I foolishly ordered a month's supply of these Daysoft One Day lenses. Never again will I succumb to it's cheap price!!!!

I tried these contact lenses a few years ago when I first started using contacts. They come at a cheap price compared to other more well known brands, and well, this should have set of warning bells.

In my monthly pack, about a quarter to a third of them were unwearable. Either they were not cut correctly (i.e. a corner was broken or the contact lens was just the wrong shape in general) or they broke as soon as I took them out of the solution/packet.

However, when it came to the ones that were wearable, I found I couldn't keep them in for longer than 4-5 hours. After that time, I had to add lubricating eye drops or my eyes were just going to dry out! After about 3 hours, my eyes were uncomfortable.

Although a month pack is cheap, I would advise anyone concerned about the health of their eyes to stay away. They dry your eyes out within hours and some of the contacts aren't even cut correctly!

If I could have given these contact lenses zero stars out of five, I would have done.
