Advantages: Cute, handy mirror and makes your lenses a little more visible

Disadvantages: Mirror is quite small, they don't have a penguin design :(

I was browsing contact lense providers online recently to see if I could get my lenses any cheaper, and came across this cute little case.

I love the convenience of my contact lenses but I hate messing about with them and cleaning them every night. I thought that this might just make the whole process a bit more fun! I order the sea otter design which is incredibly cute and always makes me smile when I use it!

I tend to use this case most of the time - one of the major advantages for me is that it holds my standard contact lense case from Optical Express that I get with my contact lenses. I had a bad habit of leaving these lying around as you get three months worth with each delivery, and it was getting a bit like a game of 'hunt the right contact lense case with your lenses in' most mornings! Now that i've got cute otters on the outer case, I know which one is the right one straight away!

The little mirror inside is fairly useful. I've not used it to put my lenses in yet but it is good for checking makeup during the day if I have my case in my bag. I think it may come into it's own as the summer progresses and we go camping, as it means I won't need to remember a mirror to deal with my lenses. There is also a name and address label underneath which I've filled in as I'd like the chance to get the case back even without the lenses!

The case also seems pretty durable, it's easy to spot in a washbag or bathroom when you're having trouble seeing (white contact lense case against white porcelain? never easy to spot!) and 10p from each sale goes to the Born Free Foundation.

I consider this purchase a success for all the reasons above and also because it makes me smile! I'm tempted by the Panda design as well, and if they ever do a penguin then I'm definately getting that one!

Summary: A nice fun item to brighten up contact lense wearing!
