Advantages: Comfortable, easy to put in

I have worn contact lenses on and off for around 5 years now. I used to wear soft lenses that you used to wear for 30 days and then threw them away.

As time went by of using these daily I was advised by my optician that I was wearing them too long and they were slowly damaging my eye. Apparently you are only meant to wear them for 7-8 hours a day but this just did not fit in with my lifestyle so I reverted back to wearing glasses.

Before my last holiday I thought I would try contact lenses again. I visited Optical Express and was offer Acuvue 1 day moist. These were slightly more expensive than I was expecting at £28 a month for 30 lenses but as soon as I put them in I knew they were worth the money.

Normally when I put in lenses after not wearing them for a while I feel slightly scratchy in my eyes and they often give me a slight headache. These slipped in so easily and I could honestly not feel them at all.

These are very comfortable lenses which can be worn for up to 16 hours a day according to my optician and then you just throw them away and start again the next day.

I have been wearing them for around 3 months now and as of yet I have nothing negative to say about them.

Summary: A comfortable lens.
