The 1 day Acuevue contact lens is the perfect daily contact lens, as it is very comfortable in the eye and give sharp clear eye-sight.


You may wonder why I'm getting so excited about a contact lens but if you knew me personally then you would understand, as I'm very clumsy and forgetful which are not great traits to have when you are a contact lens wearer as lenses are easy to rip, lose or forget to take them out. I have worn contact lenses for 15 years and have always had monthly lenses, which require constant cleaning and storing in a saline solution overnight, until recently when I was offered a trail of the daily lenses and found that they were more comfortable in the eye and I didn't need to worry about ripping them or losing them as I throw them away at the end of the night.

If you wear contact lenses every day then the monthly lenses will be more cost effective for you but if you are like me and only wear them a couple of days a week then the dailies are perfect for you as the monthly lenses were costing me £15 a month compared to £30 for 30 pairs of daily lenses so over the year the daily lenses cost me £120 compared to £180 for the monthly lenses...a good saving especially when the daily lenses are more comfortable and easy to use.


*****PACKAGING AND MATERIAL*******

The contact lenses come in a long blue and white box with your contact lenses in small plastic cases. The small case have an easy to remove plastic cover with your contact lens inside the container with saline solution maintaining the lens is moist and ready to use. The contact lens is a soft lens made from silicone hydogel allowing oxygen into the eye while the contact is in the eye.


*****EASE OF USE*******

The contact lenses have a slight hint of blue to allow you to see the lens while in the contact solution. You need to take the lens out of the solution and into your eye which can be tricky and can take some time but the longer you do it the quicker you will become...after 15 years I can do it with my eyes shut...well not literally ;). The lenses are soft so be careful when handling them as they are easy to rip so care and attention must be taken. I found the lenses easy to use and much more comfortable in my eye than monthly lenses.
