Amazingly comfortable lenses (Johnson & Johnson 1- Day Acuvue for Astigmatism)
Member Name: UpRiver
Advantages: Feel great - often don't realise I'm wearin them Disadvantages: Expensive if you wear them more than a couple of times a week
My last experience with contacts was some 20 years ago or so - am I really that old? I had the old gas permeable lenses which scratched all the time. One rainy day I rubbed my eye and one fell out, never to be seen again. I figured it was too expensive and too uncomfortable to replace, so I just went back to wearing glasses. Roll forward a few (OK, more than a few) years and my sons are increasingly active - I always end up in goal. I decided to try contacts again and my optician offered me a trial of these lenses. I suffer from hay fever so figured my eyes would be too sensitive to wear them for long periods, but I took to them straight away. I mainly wear them at weekends, but I was soon able to wear them for 12 hours or so at a time. Most of the time I don't feel I am wearing them. The lenses themselves are easy to put in and extremely easy to take out - no fiddling around, just do it standing in front of the bathroom mirror. As for the packaging, it's OK, a bit fiddly, but functional. Summary: Great product |
