Johnson & Johnson 1- Day Acuvue for Astigmatism

Advantages: Daily wear which is very convenient
Disadvantages: Expensive, uncomfortable, poor vision.
I had been wearing Johnson and Johnson 1-Day Acuvue contact lenses for a while, but I was unhappy with my vision as they did not correct my -1 astigmatism. They were fine for social events, but my vision was not good enough for work etc... As a result I decided to try 1-Day acuvue for astigmatism. I thought they would be ideal for me as they were made of the same type of material as my current lenses and they were also a convenient daily wear regime. They were massive compared to my usual contacts and felt very uncomfortable as soon as I put them in. This didn't improve much throughout the day. Surprisingly my vision didn't seem much better either. My optician told me that my one eye actually had better vision with the standard lenses! Also they were very, very expensive. As a result I decided they were not for me and in the end, after lots and lots of trials ended up with the 2- weekly acuvue advance for astigmatism.
