Advantages: Comfortable to wear, moist

Disadvantages: Slightly high price compared to others

I was recommended these contacts by my ophthalmologist after he did a thorough examination of my eyes and told me that I have slightly scratched my eyes, and that my eyes are too dry because apparently they don't produce enough tears... or something. Previously I used those contacts that last 2 weeks at a time, also by J&J, but my opthamologist said that for people like me - who wear contacts for up to 12 hours (sometimes more!) every single day - those are no good. Indeed, I find that my eyes were always too dry and feels VERY uncomfortable. Sometimes my eyes were so dry that I had to literally PEEL off the contacts just to get them out. Very bad for my eyes!

After switching to trueye, which are 1 day disposable contacts, I find that the dryness of my eyes have slightly improved - not a massive improvement, they are still incredibly dry probably because of bad habits that had lasted for years - but still an improvement. But I no longer have to peel the contacts off - these trueye contacts are truly moist! I think they are also better for everyday use, up to 10 hours a day, because my ophthalmologist told me that compared to other lines under this brand/ other brands, these trueye 1 day acuvue are the most permeable contacts? Meaning your eyes could literally "breathe" better. Not sure the amount of truth in that, but they definitely work for me. The only downside may be the slightly higher price, which can build up quite significantly because you have to stock them quite frequently for everyday use.

Summary: Good contacts, not too dry and comfortable
