I have been wearing contact lenses for 18 years, predominately using monthly air optex lenses. I wanted to change to a daily lense and tried the 1 day acuvue moist lenses which were fine. However, my optician recommended I try Acuvue TruEye lenses for the high oxygen levels. My eyes were red and sore after wearing these lenses for 3 days. On returning to my optician for my check up they found I had an ulcer on my left eye which is believed to have been caused by these lenses. The surgeon at the eye hospital says he has also seen several other cases where these lenses have caused people problems.

I've been wearing contact lenses for ten years, starting with Acuvue dailies, then Oasys, and finally TruEye. They're more comfortable than older daily lenses, but leave my eyes feeling very dry the day after I've worn them, unlike Oasys lenses.
Taking a nap or accidentally falling asleep with them in is also an unpleasant experience, and I usually feel the need to rewet once or twice a day.
I would only recommend these lenses for travel or use in the pool.

Sadly these contact lenses just don't seem to work for me.. If I get up after 10am I find them better but during week I get up 6-7am and they turn my eyes red.. Regardless if they aren't dry in about 3 mins of putting them in they have dried out during the day at least 4 times. When I say dried out I meant seriously dried out like they are stuck ... Tru eye are the WORST lenses I have ever worn. I have been a contact lense wearer for nearly five years and have tried daily disposables, continuous wear, and monthly disposables from lots of different manufactuers. I found that within just days of wearing the new acuvue one a day tru eye that I had had dry, irritated, itchy eyes. I had been ... Read the complete review

I have tried loads of different monthly contact lenses, and these are much more comfortable. I put contacts in as soon as I wake up - about 7am and take them out just before i go to bed so they are in for at least 18 hours. With monthly lenses I find that they get a bit irritating if they are left in too long, but with these it just felt like i ... Read the complete review

Simply amazing. I have tried quite a few brands of lenses over time but I cannot praise Johnson & Johnson Acuvue dailies (especially this particular product) enough. The contact lenses are incredibly comfortable and the instant they have been inserted into your eyes it's as though they're just a second skin; with of course the ... Read the complete review

These contact lenses are by far in my opininon the most comfortable lenses I have worn. I have tried monthly contact lenses as well as the ones you where all the time and dailies are my preference. Johnson & Johnson dailies are much more comfortable than other dailies and dont make my eyes itch or irritate them at all. I play a lot ... Read the complete review

I have found these Johnson & Johnson contacts brilliant. I have used other brands of contacts all of which irritated my eyes. I am able to wear the Johnson & Johnson contacts the entire day, barely noticing that they are there. I particularly like this brand because I can wear them in smokey environments. I've found that smoke dries my ... Read the complete review

In Feb of this year I went to a local glass shop for my new glasses and contact lenses. After eye checking the optician suggested me to use Johnson & Johnson contact lenses. I'm fed up with lenses cleaning, so I prefer a daily one. My optician advised me t Johnson & Johnson 1-Day Acuvue TruEye. It's not my first time ... Read the complete review

I have been wearing contact lenses for near on 15 years now and in my time wearing them have tried out most brands and types including disposables. These i have to say although slightly more expensive than what I have been previously used to are a good buy for me due to my proneness to infections. I have very sensitive eyes and as ...
