A Good Deal with Boots Vision Plan (Johnson & Johnson Acuvue Advance)

If your looking for a reliable and durable lens then Acuvue Advance are a great option. They retain moisture really well and have just the right consistency to prevent tearing and rarely 'invert' which can be a major problem with other brands.

The price is a little higher than others, but the quality more than makes up for this and Boots Vision Plan allows you to spread the cost, get reduced price glasses and include a solutions pack. You can often get an extra weeks wear from these lenses which is great if your on the vision plan, as you begin to build up a reserve.

The only downside I have found is the occasional clouding of the lens. I have tried repeatedly cleaning them and ensuring they are dirt free, but it is a strange problem that often resolves itself. This is very rare and is a minor quibble for a quality product.

Well worth the extra cash.
