Very disappointing I'm afraid! (Optrex Actimist Eye Spray)

Advantages: Hygenic, lasts for 3 years

Disadvantages: Haven't noticed any improvement

I work in an air conditioned office for between 40 and 60 hours a week and I wear contact lenses so often my eyes are tired and scratchy. I usually use traditional eye drops but after seeing the adverts for this product on TV I had to give it a try.

Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed. I have been using the spray three times a day for a week and haven't seen any improvement. It's also very expensive at £15 a bottle, at the rate I go through eye drops I would be using a bottle a month!

There are benefits to this product including the fact that one small bottle can last for 3 years and it's more hygenic than drops. However I find that the spray does cause eye make up to run so it's not really any more convienent than drops as I still have to go to the bathroom.

I can really see that this product would be benefical but at the end of the day if there is no improvement then I can't really recommend it, especially at £15 a bottle.

Summary: Not a winner I'm afraid!
