Advantages: Does the job, can get in various other more portable forms

Disadvantages: Not enough liquid

This product works very well and, like the Uni bond advert, it does exactly what it says on the tin. The only snag I have about it is that there's not much liquid in the bottle itself. The actual bottle is quite thick and thus only a limited amount can go in - clearly a marketing ploy, 110ml to be accurate. The ingredients are Purified water, alcohol, boric acid, glycerin, witch hazel, sodium borate, benzalkonium chloride.

I wear lenses and find that sometimes, dependent on where i've been - smokey atmosphere, the gym where sweat has been pouring into my eyes, they feel dry and generally in need of some tlc. What better way to do this than a soothing eye bath. The little cup inside fits really well around the eye and ensures that water seepage is kept to a minimum, thus giving you maximum effects. The little cup should be filled to a third and the liquid should be fresh for each eye.

I have recently suffered from hayfever and found that my eyes had reddened and were itching as a result. I used the eye bath, and I must admit, it worked wonders! It also gently removes make-up that gets trapped on the surface of your eye.

A few uses and it's all gone, but it's well worth keeping in stock in your mediine cabinet for those off days. For those times when you're not at home, with the luxury to make use of this particular product, there are little satchet type items you can get within the same range, allowing you to keep them handy in case of emergency. It retails at £4.17 at Superdrug, but it's worth shopping around.

Summary: Generally a good product
