Advantages: free one month trial, feels v.comfortable only £10 a month on direct debit.

Disadvantages: none for me

I've been wearing glasses ever since i was 13, and ever since then i've always hated them. P.E was diffficult as i had to take them off and could never see anything if it was more than a few feet away. my glasses used to leave marks on my nose and i've always felt paranoid wearing them. for as long as i can remember i have always wanted contact lenses. the only thing putting me off was the cost. being a student i dont really have money to spare.
But when i visited specsavers to have my sight tested again i noticed that they had an offer on which said you could have a free one months lens trial. GREAT i thought :) and quickly booked myself in for an appointment. A few days later i walk into specsavers while a man *he was sooo cute :)* checks my eyes and makes sure i have an up to date glasses prescription. if its older than 2 years they'll recommend that you have a sight test first. tells me everything i need to know about contacts(how to insert them/take them out etc) and gives me a pair to try on. after i put them in he told me to go take a walk outside for 20mins. As i walked out and saw everything i was so amazed at how comfortable they felt and how great my vision was. 20mins later i walk into specsavers again with a smile on my face. my cute optician looks at me and winks ;) then checks my eyes to make sure the contacts fit properly. after he was satified he booked me in for another apointment in 2weeks time to makee sure alls well. he handed me a solutions bottle, told me how to clean my lenses and store them and before you know it am out the door.

Summary: i would say try them out. its a free trial for one month..
