Advantages: Good Quality lenses and a reliable, value for money service

Disadvantages: none in 10 years!

I have been using these lenses via Specsavers 'lens mail' service for approx. ten years now and I have never had any problems with them. The cost is very reasonable, about £30 every quarter which comes out of my bank account.

For your £30 you get your contact lenses posted to your door - the package includes 3 sets of contact lenses, 3 bottles of soloution and a plastic 'drum shaped' lens holder.

As I dont wear my contacts every day I never run out of soloution, however, if you were a daily wearer I think that the amount of soloution might be a bit tight - I might try this for a month and let you know! The lenses themselves are pretty high quality and I have never had a problem with them tearing, nor have I had any problems with them in my eyes, despite the occassional pain when I am tired or have had a heavy night the night before - again, I think this is going to happen with any lens.

I have had friends who have had theyre lenses from different suppliers and are paying alot more money for basically the same service. The lensmail service offered by specsavers gives really good value for a good quality product, my lenses are always delivered on time and on the odd occassion where I have let a pair dry out, I simply phone my branch and they arrange another paid to be sent out by 1st class post (a few times they have even done this free of charge)

Great Service - I would advise anyone looking at replacing their contacts to look into this (no pun intended).
