===Safety and Durability===

The staff at specsavers will give you a detailed demonstration of how to clean and care for them; make sure you follow it to the letter. I have been wearing these for over eight years since I was in my early teens and have never once had a problem with them, and this has been in spite of my often wearing them for a few hours more than recommended each day (or accidentally sleeping with them in) and occasionally forgetting to change them until a week after I should have.

Strictly speaking they recommend no more than 12 hours a day, but I have worn them for 16 hours for 8 years without issue and so can state with confidence that there's a fair bit of leeway and you need not worry if you need to stay up for a few extra hours for work etc.

I've even forgotten to put solution in the tub on several occasions, but a soaking them in solution for ten minutes has always made them as right as rain. They're surprising durable for how fragile they feel. That said, they are fairly easy to spot and find if you drop them, so take care when putting them in.

===Comfort===

They are incredibly easy to put in, comfortable and completely unnoticeable while you wear them. I have not found that they dry my eyes out or itch in any way, although first time users of contact lenses should note that the solution will sting a bit for the first few weeks while your eyes get used to them.

===Extra Features===

They always come with more than enough solution and are easy to clean and maintain. If you get them on a direct debit scheme, specsavers will automatically update your prescription after every sight test. They typically offer free trials for a week or so for new contact lense users, which is always worth taking advantage of. For the first few weeks they really look after you; they gave me multiple appointments to check how I was getting along.
