Advantages: No need to take out every night

These are a soft lens that you don't have to take out every night.
I first tried these as I found it to be easier to leave the lenses in overnight.
Compared to other lenses I have tried, they seem to look larger, so It was a bit daunting at first to put them in. However they aren't as large as the daily disposables which I once tried - they looked huge!
Once they are in they are very comfortable, you can forget you're wearing them and it's great! Until you rub your eyes and the lens almost falls out, which happens with any lenses, not just these.
They are great for wearing out clubbing/pubbing etc. as you no longer have the drunken lens removal to do. As they are designed for long periods of use they are really soft and comfortable.
When I started using these (I have used them for a couple of years now) I was told to take them out once a week - so they can be cleaned and to prevent irritation to the eye. I usualy forget to do this, but if you do you get the protein build up on the lens which then clouds the vision.
I found that if irritation of the eyelid occurs then wearing glasses for a week before going back to lenses alleiviates the problems.To be honest I got much more irritation from regular lenses than these.
I get my lenses on a direct debit scheme so it's £15.50 per month - I get free eye tests with this and free contact lens checks too, AND discounts on designer glasses.
I would recommend thee lenses to people with a busy life who don't have time for the fuss of regular lenses. You need to replace them once a month, and clean once a week.
