Acard AEC 6890 ... of Serial ATA. Besides its high transfer rate of 150MB/s, AEC-6890 supports a 1-meter-long hard drive cable, too. The narrow cable and connectors are good for heat sinking and air circulation inside the chassis of PC.

AEC-6890 supports RAID 0, 1 and JBOD modes. The Windows-based GUI RAID Utility provides a user-friendly RAID management tool. AEC-6890 also supports 32-bit PCI specifications, including the instruction set Bus Master, which can enhance the transfer capability. Moreover, the controller supports Scatter/Gather, which can increase the multitasking effect.
