The T4 is compatible with SCSI devices through the fastest Ultra 320 hard disks currently on the market. The T4 will negotiate with the SCSI device to use the fastest available 16-bit or 8-bit SCSI transfer mode up to 80MB/s. And the T4 is compatible with both LVD (Low-Voltage Differential) and SE (Single-Ended) SCSI devices.

And with the T4, forget about jumpers. The T4 automatically scans the SCSI bus to find the SCSI device, so you don't need to worry about SCSI ID settings.

The Tableau T4 includes both FireWire800 and USB 2.0 host interfaces, offering maximum flexibility when connecting the T4 to the host computer. FireWire800 (1394B) offers the best performance, while retaining backwards compatibility with FireWire400 (1394A) systems. USB 2.0 offers increased flexibility by supporting computers, which don't have FireWire, but do have a USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 interface.
