I was a little disappointed with this book , I must admit, I usualy choose a recipe with my eyes and not all of them has photographs. It was bought as a christmas present and I must be honest i wouldnt have bought it for myself because its a bit expensive for what it is, which at the end of the day, its a cook book. I think there are better ones on the market cheaper, but I suppose you pay for the name. A couple of recipes printed here are difficult to do as you have to source the ingrediants. So instead of opening your cupboards and throwing it in, some times you have to go out and purchase especially. I know what you thinking, why dont i use an alternative, if i did i ...

I m not a vegetarian but I don t eat red meat preferring either chicken or fish but I do enjoy vegetarian food. Looking for a recipe in my well thumbed "Delia s Vegetarian Collection" I realised just how much I have come to rely on this book over the last couple of years. There are 10 chapters containing over 250 recipes. Soups, Starters and Salads, Eggs, Cheese, Pasta and Noodles, Food for Friends, Grains and Pulses, Simply Vegetables, Baking and finally Puddings.
