... I bought this I was bowled over by it. Certainly compared to a normal 4 ring cooker and oven it is fantastic. It has 4 normal gas burners and a fifth double burner with wok attachment which is pretty hot. Great for stir fries, less good for gentle simmering e.g. of soup pans because even the lowest setting will cause a soup to burn and stick to the bottom of the pan as it is too hot. Zanussi-Electrolux ZKC5540W ... ordered my new oven from Argos just a few months ago for the bargain price of £449.99. It is a White electric Zanussi-Electrolux ZKC5540W and it is sold as a double oven with a separate grill. This oven is also available in Silver and Stainless Steel but it does cost slightly more at a cost of around £549.99. So why did I plump for the oven, well other than the fact it was currently on sale and I was saving myself £100 it is exactly the same Oven that my Mother-in-law has and it possesses everything that I need and it comes with a one year warranty. Stoves 61DFDO ... have had my cooker for 10 months, in which time 11 control knobs have broken so far, Stoves always replace them without question as the cooker is still under warrenty, but what happens when the warranty runs out? I am sure this is a design fault, has anyone else had the same problem, i am certain that i am not alone in this situation and would like to hear from others.
