Cannon C60GTC:
... my parents replaced their freestanding old cannon cooker with another one, the Cannon C60GTC. This was really out of necessity because the parts to repair the old cooker were no longer available. I helped my parents with some price comparisons on the internet and found that we could buy another one for £550. However, I then found that my parents could claim a new one through the Cannon insurance they had... Read the full review: CANNON COOKER by womblebatman |

Cannon C60DPX ... wanted to change my separate hob/oven for a larger oven capacity, but didn t have room for a larger range cooker. After looking about I chose the Cannon C60DPX. We paid £560 for it online. Its a great looking model, with range styling, but will fit into a conventional cooker space. I have been using it for a couple of months now, and there a few points to mention I still have to crank the heat up on the bottom fan oven - something I didnt need to do with my old stand alone, seemed to cook well at lower temperatures I find the racks in the bottom oven sticky and don t slide well, feels slightly unsafe when trying to take large casseroles out The bottom door is side ope... Cannon Professional 10430G ... two years the nut holding the door closure stud fell off inside the cooker. Hotpoint refused to acknowledge this as a design fault and insisted on charging £90 for someone to come and screw the nut back on. They then tried to sell me a further year s warranty for £150 on the back of this fault. This is unacceptable on a £650 cooker. Their website says "Our commitment to making your life easier doesn t stop once you ve bought your appliance. Hotpoint s aftersales care is second to none." Don t believe a word of it. Still, it makes a good-looking cupboard!... Read the full review: A brand to avoid by GBeauchamp |

Cannon Professional 10430G ... in the grill/oven can be moved to allow food to be closer/further away from the heat source. According to the instruction booklet the hotplate has four gas burners, two high speed and two simmering. I personally cant find much difference between them except the sizes. Two burners are 3 in diameter and two are 4 in diameter. There are two cast iron pan supports which cover all four burners. Cannon advise that pans with diameters between 4 and 9 should be used on the hotplate and that pans should be sited centrally over the burners. I have used a Paella pan with an 11 diameter on the hotplate several times and not encountered any problems. Each burner has a spark ...
