An absolute waste of money! I thought it was just that I was not used to a gas oven, but other people have tried (often unsuccessfully) to cook a meal and have ALL complained about the whole cooker. The top oven decides when it will turn itself off, the bottom oven only cooks in the top right hand corner, the hob is dangerous as the pans fall over. Within about a week, I had to call the engineer out because the grill woundn't stay alight - he never had the part so I had to wait for him to get it! When you open the door of the bottom oven, the whole appliance moves - even thought it is chained to the wall. All in all I wish I had never bought it!!! I have now found a second hand cooker from a friend and hopefully it will be better than this awful one! I can't even sell it on - although its only 8 months old because I would feel as if I were 'conning' people out of their money
15 days old and the engineer has called twice already to a top oven that just refuses to stay alight. cooking a meal for 6, as i was the last time it happened, can be quite tricky with a useless oven like this as im sure you can appreciate. the engineer has asked me to perservere with the problem while he gets a part that hes not even sure is going to work!! ( he doesnt want me to ring beko incase he gets it in the neck for not resolving the issue TWICE). The whole thing is nothing more than a joke and a complete waste of money. BIG MISTAKE on my part for letting the cost control my desicion!! the grill handle is completely unsafe and you are lucky if you manage to retrieve your toast etc without depositing it on the floor or indeed burning yourself. the glass lid has to be up at all times when cooking because the vent is underneath it so it gets extremley hot and i for one dont fancy waiting to see if it will explode infront of my childrens eyes! i really dont think this oven is going to have more than a few months life span in our house. i will never buy a beko product again.
like i read in another review and have had first hand experience with a beko free standing gas cooker model 695 dvg do not buy one of these at any cost complete waste of money had nothing but problems with it from day 1 as main oven would take ages cooking any thing and top oven would keep turning it self off.
Extremely poor appliance, and Beko service is worse, best advice is to avoid like the plague.
Oven thermostat is useless, everything is cremated as there is no adjustment, engineer came out ,leant in oven with large pair of grips and squashed the thermostat bulb to " correct the error".
After 15+ phone calls, being sent around the UK to companies that had no engineers/could not get parts/would phone back I got absolutely nowhere.
The finish of the product is bad,the grill is a joke, bread only gets a suntan on 1/2 the slice, the hotplate pan supports are dangerous, the spacing means pans can and do fall over, the gas jets are at least cleanable. The glass lid is over the oven vent which means the hot air is not vented to the rear as it should be, it comes forward into the room and condensation forms all over the lid which leaves marks to clean off.
All in all a very expensive mistake and the attitude displayed by Beko has meant I will never buy any product of theirs again.
